    摘要: An internal broaching tool for broaching profiles delimited by a root and flanks in one aspect arranges a relief part between the toothed part and the calibration part. The calibrating broaching teeth in adjacent rows on the calibration part have a guiding flank (without a clearance angle or with a maximum negative clearance angle of 0.1°) and a cutting flank (with a positive clearance angle). The guiding flanks and the cutting flanks on the calibrating broaching teeth located behind each other in the direction opposite the broaching direction are alternately offset relative to each other in adjacent rows. The position, shape, and size of each guiding flank located downstream in relation to the direction opposite the broaching direction are associated with the position, shape, and size of the associated cutting flank (or the flank of the broaching tooth) in the preceding row.

    摘要: A broach tool and a broach insert for chip removing machining of metals are provided. The broach tool includes an elongate holder and at least one cutting unit. The holder comprises at least one recess for the receipt of the cutting unit. The broach tool has a feeding direction. The broach tool includes clamping members for each cutting unit. Each clamping member is arranged in front of the cutting unit in the feeding direction. The cutting unit is a replaceable broach insert including a base part and a cutting part. A notch is formed centrally in a rear side surface of the broach insert. The recess includes a rear wall formed with a projection, the cross section of which is U-shaped and includes arms. The arms are arranged to be elastically deformed by the notch.

    摘要: A broach assembly includes an elongated base having a central upward projection and a pair of side flanges and a tapered undersurface. Releasably mounted on the projection are multiple tool holders spaced along the length of the base. The tool holders mount cutters for engaging active surfaces of the wedge slot as the broach assembly is passed through the wedge slot. Shims may be interposed between the tool holders and base to increase the elevation of the cutting surfaces relative to the undersurface of the base to progressively increase the bearing pressure of the cutting surfaces against the active surfaces of the slot during multiple passes of the broach assembly through the wedge slot.
