    摘要： A push-on type lumber stacker utilizes a pivoted conveyor for discharging the boards onto the stack and which starting from the outfeed conveyor level pivots upwardly in correspondence with the increasing height of the stack. The pivoted conveyor at its discharge end incorporates a plurality of remotely operable stick holders which hold the sticks as runners during formation of each layer and then release the sticks to serve as layer spacers. A plurality of rotary driven cams are also mounted on the discharge end of the conveyor to assist in pushing the boards onto the sticks.

    摘要： A wheeled transport vehicle of the kind disclosed in my prior application Ser. No. 553,163 now U.S. Pat. No. 4,005,784, is provided with at least one laterally adjustable barrier member which forms a side or end of an interior space within which successive layers of bales or other articles are formed on or over the floor.A vehicle of the aforesaid kind has a body which is open at the back and comprises spaced side walls and a front wall and a vertically movable floor is arranged therein and is progressively lowered as successive layers of articles are formed within the upper part of the body.The said barrier member may have the form of a rail or bar or it may be an auxiliary wall which preferably is shallow in depth so as to be disposed wholly above the level of the floor when the latter is in its uppermost operative position whereby it is movable inwardly above the latter.The said barrier member or one or more of them, is preferably movable inwardly by power actuated means, thereby to push the bales or other articles closer together.More particularly each of the barrier members is disposed inwardly of, and adjacent and parallel to, a corresponding side or end wall of the body which may also be open at the bottom so that the floor may be lowered onto the ground and then detached from its raising and lowering means.The floor may also support a longitudinally slidable pallet or false floor so that the latter may be discharged together with a stack of bales formed thereon.

    摘要： A semi-automatic lifting device for operation by a single operator for complete control over the operation of raising pallets loaded with cases of empty bottles and the like. At least one work station is provided, but preferably two such stations with the operator located centrally therebetween, with foot controls at the operator's position for operation of hydraulic or other power-type lifts for each work station. The pallets loaded with cases of bottles are lifted to a convenient heighth for the operator who then may transfer the cases to an adjacent associated conveyor system by the operator simply sliding the cases of bottles onto the case conveyor, thereby, eliminating most bottle breakage and manual lifting of the cases. The system will increase productivity and decrease chances of back injuries by eliminating case and bottle lifting.

    摘要： A semiautomatic machine is provided to load parcels layer by layer onto a pallet. The machine includes an elevated arranging table on which parcels are manually arranged into desired patterns. After a layer has been assembled, the table may be retracted to drop the layer onto a pallet or preceding layer. An elevator is provided to support the pallet or preceding layer at a level immediately below the arranging table. When the desired number of layers are accumulated, the pallet is discharged and a new one is automatically supplied. The upper surface of the arranging table is perforated to permit the flow of pressurized air therethrough to support the weight of the parcels thereon to minimize sliding friction and, therefore, manual effort.
