摘要： In the dry clearing machine, a common refrigerator is used for both the solvent cooler and the drying cooler, and the coolant compressed and liquefied in the refrigerator is supplied either one of the heat exchanger of the solvent cooler or that of the drying cooler, depending on the state of a switch. In the heat exchanger selected by the switch, the coolant is supplied and the solvent or the air is cooled when the coolant evaporates. That is, only the cooler selected by the switch works, but the other cooler not selected by the switch does not work. While the laundry is washed, normally, it is not necessary to supply air to the outer tub through the air path, and the drying cooler need not be operated. Thus, in the process of washing, the solvent is adequately cooled because an enough amount of coolant is supplied to the solvent cooler, and the temperature rise of the solvent is prevented.

摘要： A drying machine has a drying chamber for drying an article cleaned with an inflammable solvent as a detergent. A hot air supply channel communicates with the drying chamber and a heater is mounted in the hot air supply channel. A hot air evacuation channel communicates with the drying chamber and a hot air transfer device is mounted at a voluntary portion of the hot air supply channel and the hot air evacuation channel. A control device is provided for driving control of the heater. A first temperature sensor is mounted on the downstream side of the heater in the hot air supply channel and a second temperature sensor is mounted at a position shifted to the drying chamber in the hot air evacuation channel. The control device controls the heater so that the difference in the temperature detected by the first temperature sensor and the temperature detected by the second temperature sensor is kept within a safe temperature range.

摘要： There is described an apparatus for drying and cooling dry cleaned items and for recovering cleaning solvents therefrom, including a cleaning drum for receiving and treating the items with cleaning solvent, a circulating fan for drawing air through the drum, a heater for heating the air drawn through the drum during the drying cycle of the dry cleaning machine, a condenser for condensing solvent vapors entrained in the heated air during the drying cycle and a gas compresser to supply the heater and condenser with hot gas during the drying cycle of the apparatus. The compresser also supplies cold refrigerant to the condenser during the drying cycle. The compresser then supplies cold refrigerant both to the heater and the condenser during the cooling cycle of the apparatus.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a device that comprises a refrigeration plant with two distinct evaporators, one parallel with the other, which can be supplied separately to suit the operating cycle of the dry cleaning machine on which the device is mounted and are housed in a corresponding first and a corresponding second jacket.The first jacket is placed in a closed circuit through which passes a forced circulation of liquid and in which is provided the nest of tubes belonging to the condenser mounted in the closed drying circuit of the machine. Heat is given to the said liquid by the solvent vapor and water which, as they pass across the condenser, are cooled and condensed, and the liquid is cooled by the evaporator housed in the first jacket.Jointly with the deodorizing circuit of the said machine, the second jacket defines a closed circuit; the evaporator concerned cools the air-solvent vapor-water mixture that circulates in the said closed circuit, and this allows the condensation to take place of the said vapor and renders possible the recovery of the solvent contained therein.

摘要： A dry cleaning machine has a purifier bypass conduit and an associated control valve connected between an air exhaust line of the dry cleaning machine and an outlet line leading to atmosphere through an end filter. The outlet end of the air exhaust line is immersed in cooled water held in a closed vessel of a purifier apparatus and the outlet line is in direct fluid communication with the purifier at a point above the water. During opening and ventilation of the dry cleaning machine, the control valve is opened to provide a low pressure fluid flow path that bypasses the purifier. In one embodiment several exhaust lines, each connected to a separate dry cleaning machine, are immersed in a common purifier. Control valves in the bypass conduits connected between each air exhaust line and the outlet line together with adjustments in the vertical displacement of each exhaust conduit to change its immersion depth in the water accommodate variations in the size and operating cycles of each machine.
