摘要: Nonwovens that have excellent stretchability in both the machine direction and the cross direction, and laminates including such nonwovens. The nonwoven includes fibers having a core-in-sheath structure including a core part and sheath part. The core part includes a thermoplastic elastomer. The sheath part includes a polyolefin having a melt flow rate greater than or equal to 100 g/10 minutes, and a viscosity lower than the thermoplastic elastomer at a specific temperature selected in a temperature range of from 220° C. to 260° C.

摘要: A nonwoven cloth provided with both improved softness and adequate thickness and specific volume having thermally fused composite fibers that are mutually intersecting and overlapping, and a constricted thermally adhesive section in which the thermally fused composite fibers are thermally fused in the intersection region. The constricted thermally adhesive section has a recessed surface facing a center line extending in a direction overlapping with the thermally fused composite fibers across the center of the intersection region. The distance between the thermally fused composite fibers is larger than the sum of the radii of the thermally fused composite fibers, the thickness under a load of 3.0 gf/cm2 is 0.5-3.0 mm, and the specific volume is 6-300 cm3/g.

摘要: The presently disclosed subject matter relates to a dispersible, nonwoven multistrata wipe material that is stable in a wetting liquid and flushable in use. More particularly, the presently disclosed subject matter relates to layered structures including, but not limited to, one, two, three, or four layers to form the dispersible nonwoven wipe material. The layers contain cellulosic fibers and a binder or additive.

摘要: A method for making a thermoinsulating padding, particularly for the cloth article and furniture fields, comprises the steps of: providing a lap by carding in bulk fibers comprising at least a thermobinding fiber; applying, by spraying or spreading, a low glass transition temperature resin, or a mixture of resins comprising at least a low glass transition temperature resin at least on a side of said lap only to the surface layers of said side; drying the resin coated lap in a drying oven to start a cross linking of said resins; actuating said low glass transition temperature resin (previously applied either individually or in a mixture with other resins) by pressure calendering under a controlled temperature, thereby providing a dynamically operating padding.

摘要: An exemplary down and fiber blend may comprise a first weight of down having a water-resistant coating applied thereto, and a second weight of water-resistant fiber. The water-resistant treated down is preferably dried prior to mixing with the chosen fiber. The fiber in the blend may preferably be a polyester fiber, such as a polyester staple microfiber. A method of forming a down and fiber blend may include the gradual introduction of the fiber into a mixing box in which the water-resistant treated down is being stirred. Fiber and mixing parameters are also provided which have been determined to result in optimal performance characteristics of the fiber blend. In the microfiber blend embodiments, each strand may preferably have 6 to 9 crimps per inch, and the microfiber strands may preferably be 0.8 to 1.4 denier.
