    摘要: Transmit power control methods and apparatus are disclosed. In several embodiments, a mobile terminal is configured to effectively ignore “UP” transmit power control commands in the event that the mobile terminal is operating in a power-limited state. In an exemplary method for controlling transmit power at a mobile terminal, a plurality of transmit power control commands are received. An accumulated power control value is adjusted in response to each transmit power control command that directs a negative adjustment in transmit power. However, the accumulated power control value is adjusted in response to a transmit power control command that directs a positive adjustment in transmit power only if the mobile terminal is not in a power-limited state. Transmit power settings for each transmission are calculated based on the accumulated power control value and the one or more radio link parameters.

    摘要: In MU-MIMO scenarios, a target terminal can be exposed to data streams intended for other terminals. If the target terminal is capable of interference cancellation, then a network node, such as a base station or RNC, can provide the target terminal with interference information so that the target terminal can efficiently cancel interferences due to these interfering data streams. The interference information may include one or more interfering configuration, each of which characterizes a related interfering data stream. The interference information can also include the identity of the other terminal that is the intended recipient of the interfering stream. The network node may determine whether the target terminal can benefit from the interference information. If so, the network node can provide the interference information to the target terminal.

The method comprises determining (424) that a first time reference or a first communication using a first component carrier has a time shift compared to a second time reference of a second communication using a second component carrier. The method further comprises determining (426) a duration of a communication sub-frame based on the time shift, and scheduling (428) the determined communication sub-frame on a first component carrier to a first communication device. The determined frame duration is equal to the time shift or equal to the normal sub-frame length minus the time shift so as to avoid any overlap or interference. Corresponding computer program product, arrangement, communication node and first communication device are also disclosed.

    摘要: The present invention relates to cellular radio communication and in particular to providing information on neighbour cells to enable terminals to perform neighbour cell measurements. In the prior art the terminal attempts to make neighbour cell measurements in a reference signal structure that is the same in the neighbour cell as in the cell the terminal camps in. The present invention is based on the insight that the reference signal structure may differ between neighbouring cell for example in the situation of an MBSFN area that is restricted to a region of all cells of a radio network, or in the situation of TDD mode being applied there may be different regions with different allocation of sub-frames for transmission in the uplink and downlink directions. The present invention solves the problem by broadcast information in a cell indicative of the reference signal structure in neighbour cells.

    摘要: A guard period for switching between uplink and downlink subframes is created by shortening an uplink subframe, i.e., by not transmitting during one or more symbol intervals at the beginning of the subframe interval. A grant message includes signaling indicating when a shortened subframe should be transmitted. An example method is implemented in a first wireless node configured to transmit data in transmit subframes occurring at defined subframe intervals and having a predetermined number of symbol intervals. This example method includes determining (1620) that a transmit subframe is to be shortened, relative to the predetermined number of symbol intervals and, in response to this determination, shortening (1630) transmission of the transmit subframe by not transmitting during a beginning portion of the subframe interval for the transmit subframe and transmitting during the remainder of the subframe interval.
