The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The present disclosure provides a method for performing access for a UE. In addition, the present disclosure discloses a data forwarding method and a data forwarding equipment, user equipment and base station. By the technical solutions disclosed in the present disclosure, a UE may help a base station to forward data of other UEs.

Abstract: The present application discloses handover methods and apparatuses. One specific embodiment of the handover method comprises receiving a handover request message from a source base station by a target base station; determining whether to add a secondary base station for setting up a dual-connectivity for a user equipment (UE) according to the handover request message; and performing a handover operation and a dual-connectivity setup operation in response to the determination of adding the secondary base station. The dual-connectivity can be set up for the UE during the handover in the embodiments.

The method includes forwarding data to a target base station, receiving a first end marker packet from a core network, and transmitting, for a quality of service, quality of service (QoS), flow for which the data forwarding has been completed, a second end marker packet to the target base station, the end marker packet containing a QoS flow identity (QFI). The methods of embodiments of the disclosure may reduce the packet transmission delay and improve the user experience.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses methods, systems and devices for supporting local breakout in a small cell architecture. An MME sends information of a local breakout bearer for a UE to a MeNB, and the MeNB determines a local home network to which the local breakout bearer belongs according to the received information. When the MeNB is to switch the local breakout bearer between different eNBs, the MeNB selects an eNB in the local home network to which the local breakout bearer belongs as a target eNB. By the present disclosure, the continuity of local breakout traffic may be ensured when a User Equipment (UE) moves in a small cell scenario, thereby avoiding data loss and improving user experiences. Further, a local breakout bearer may be released timely and reasonably, thereby saving system resources.

By adopting the technical scheme disclosed in the present application, the signaling overhead can be saved, and the delay of the UE access network can be reduced.-

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for obtaining a UE counting result. The method includes: establishing, by the UE, a RRC connection; sending a UE counting response via the RRC connection; or, sending, by the UE, a RRC establishing message, and configuring a reason of establishing the RRC as MBMS UE counting. The present disclosure also provides a method for obtaining a UE counting result, a method and apparatus for suspending data transmission. By using the present disclosure, when the UE needs to receive the GCSE service, the MCE may obtain a correct counting result and not make wrong decision no matter whether the UE is in the RRC connected mode or in the idle mode. Therefore, the UE does not need to establish the point-to-point channel, and interruption of the data transmission and unnecessary power consumption are avoided.
