Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a first housing and a second housing, a flexible display, at least one contact structure, a first processor, and a first ultrawide band (UWB) antenna, a second UWB antenna, a third UWB antenna, and a fourth UWB antenna, and, in a first state, the first processor may transmit and/or receive a signal of a designated frequency band, based on at least two of the first UWB antenna and the second UWB antenna, and the third UWB antenna, and, in a second state, the first processor may transmit and/or receive a signal of a designated frequency band, based on at least two of the first UWB antenna and the second UWB antenna, and the fourth UWB antenna which is disposed in the flexible display.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication apparatus and method for supporting a forward error correction scheme in a communication system. To this end, by means of a generation mode among a plurality of generation modes (ssbg_mode #0, #1, #2), a source symbol block having a plurality of source symbols is generated by using a source packet block having a plurality of source packets, and a repair symbol block for the generated source symbol block is generated by means of a forward error correction (FEC) scheme among a plurality of FEC schemes (FEC payload ID mode 0, FEC payload ID mode 1). A first FEC scheme (FEC payload ID mode 1) is applied to generate the repair symbol block, and in response to an occurrence of a discontinuity in packet sequence numbers, a repair packet may be generated to include length repair data and a repair FEC payload identifier (ID).

Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a plate attached to the housing to form an inner space together with the housing and includes a flat portion facing in a first direction and a curved portion extended from an edge of the flat portion and forming an obtuse angle with the first direction, and an antenna module positioned in the inner space. The antenna module includes a first partial layer, a second partial layer that includes a first antenna pattern, and is stacked on the first partial layer, and a third partial layer that includes a second antenna pattern, and is stacked on the second partial layer. When viewed from the first direction, the third partial layer overlaps at least a portion of the flat portion, and at least a portion of the second partial layer overlaps at least a portion of the curved portion.

The antenna structure may also include a plurality of insulating layers disposed between the first and second surfaces, first conductive patches disposed in the first area, when viewed from above the first surface, and disposed on the first surface or on a first insulating layer closer to the first surface than the second surface, a second conductive patch overlapped at least in part with the second area, when viewed from above the first surface, and disposed on a second insulating layer between the first insulating layer and the second surface, a ground layer disposed on a third insulating layer between the second insulating layer and the second surface or on the second surface, and one or more conductive walls formed along at least a portion of an outer periphery of the first area, when viewed from above the first surface, and extended from the first insulating layer to the ground layer. The electronic device includes at least one wireless communication circuit electrically connected to the second conductive patch and configured to at least one of transmit or receive a signal having a frequency between about 3 GHz and about 100 GHz.

Other various embodiments are possible.
