    Abstract: An organic light-emitting diode display is disclosed. In one aspect, the display includes a plurality of pixels formed in a plurality of intersection areas of a plurality of data lines and a plurality of scan lines. Each of the pixels includes a storage capacitor configured to store a data voltage, at least one target transistor having one end electrically connected to a current path of the storage capacitor, an organic light emitting layer, and a first electrode of an OLED formed over the organic light emitting layer. The first electrode includes a first electrode extension configured to block at least a portion of the target transistor from light.

    Abstract: There is provided a display device including a display including a first pixel connected to a first data line and a second pixel connected to a second data line, a data signal generator configured to generate an output signal, and a signal divider configured to divide the output signal, to generate a first data signal and a second data signal, and to apply the first data signal and the second data signal to the first data line and the second data line, respectively, wherein the data signal generator is configured to generate the output signal based on a coupling effect of a first parasitic capacitor formed between the first data line and the second data line and a coupling effect of a parasitic capacitor of a data line formed by the first data line and second data line.

    Abstract: In a liquid crystal display one pixel is divided into two subpixels, the two subpixels are connected to two subdata lines extending from one data line, and a desired data voltage is applied by using a data driving switching element connected to the subdata line, thereby reducing the number of data lines needed to reduce the cost of the driver and preventing a lack of space to mount the data driver while dividing one pixel into two subpixels and differently applying voltages of the two subpixels.
