    Abstract: A display panel includes an upper display substrate, a lower display substrate, and a partition wall. The upper display substrate includes a display area and a non-display area adjacent to the display area. The display area includes pixel areas and a light blocking area adjacent to the pixel areas. The lower display substrate includes display elements configured to emit light having a first color and respectively overlapping the pixel areas. The partition wall includes a partition wall part overlapping the light blocking area and a reflection part disposed on the partition wall part. The upper display substrate includes a base substrate, a color filter layer disposed on the base substrate, and a light control layer disposed on the color filter layer. The light control layer is configured to control the light having the first color. The partition wall is disposed on the light control layer.

    Abstract: A display device including: a lower substrate having a display area and a peripheral area; a plurality of lower electrodes disposed in the display area and on the lower substrate; a pixel defining layer covering a portion of each of the lower electrodes; a light emitting layer disposed on the lower electrodes and the pixel defining layer; an upper electrode disposed on the light emitting layer; a plurality of optical filters disposed on the upper electrode and spaced apart from each other; a lower light blocking layer disposed between the optical filters, and having a plurality of openings; an upper substrate disposed on the lower light blocking layer to oppose the lower substrate; and an alignment structure disposed in the peripheral area of the lower substrate and the upper substrate, and including a material identical to a material of the pixel defining layer and the lower light blocking layer.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel includes a first odd source electrode and a first odd drain electrode on a first odd semiconductor layer have the same shapes as a first even drain electrode and a first even source electrode on a first even semiconductor layer, and when viewed in a plan view, a shape of a even pixel, except for a first even transistor, has substantially inversion symmetry with a shape of a odd pixel about a point on a virtual line parallel to a second direction.

    Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present inventive concept provides a display device including: a light unit configured to emit blue light; a color conversion panel disposed on the light unit; and a display panel disposed between the light unit and the color conversion panel to include a transistor. The color conversion panel includes: a substrate; a color conversion layer disposed between the substrate and the display panel to include a semiconductor nanocrystal; a transmission layer disposed between the substrate and the display panel; and a polarization layer disposed between the color conversion layer and the display panel and between the transmission layer and the display panel, and the display panel includes a blue light blocking film which overlaps the transistor, while the blue light blocking film includes a red color filter.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display area and a non-display area, a first alignment layer disposed on a first substrate, a second alignment layer disposed on a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first alignment layer and the second alignment layer; and a groove disposed in the non-display area of the second substrate to correspond to at least a portion of an end portion of the second alignment layer. The groove is provided along at least one side of the display area and is configured to be filled by an alignment solution used to from the second alignment layer and prevent the alignment solution from dispersing to other areas of the second substrate.
