Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel includes a first odd source electrode and a first odd drain electrode on a first odd semiconductor layer have the same shapes as a first even drain electrode and a first even source electrode on a first even semiconductor layer, and when viewed in a plan view, a shape of a even pixel, except for a first even transistor, has substantially inversion symmetry with a shape of a odd pixel about a point on a virtual line parallel to a second direction.

An absolute value difference between a first product RpCp of a resistance Rp and a capacitance Cp defined by the coupling electrode, the insulating layer, and the second pixel electrode, and a second product R2C2 of a resistance R2 and a capacitance C2 defined by the second pixel electrode, the liquid crystal layer, and the common electrode is less than or equal to 10.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a first display substrate, a second display substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first and second display substrates. The first display substrate further includes a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode, a first color filter and a second color filter disposed below and overlapping the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode, respectively, a first thin film transistor, and a contact portion connecting the first thin film transistor to the first pixel electrode. The first color filter and the second color filter contact each other, and one of the first color filter and the second color filter includes an indented portion partially surrounding the contact portion. A portion of the one of the first color filter and the second color filter is spaced apart from a portion of the other with the contact portion disposed therebetween.

Abstract: A display substrate includes a base substrate, a gate electrode, a semiconductor layer, a source electrode, a drain electrode, a first black organic layer, a data line and a pixel electrode. The gate electrode is disposed on the base substrate. The semiconductor layer is disposed on the gate electrode. The source electrode is disposed on the semiconductor layer. The drain electrode is disposed on the semiconductor layer and is spaced apart from the source electrode. The first black organic layer is disposed on the source electrode and the drain electrode. The data line is disposed on the first black organic layer, and is electrically connected to the source electrode through a contact hole formed through the first black organic layer. The pixel electrode is electrically connected to the drain electrode. Thus, display quality of a display apparatus including the display substrate may be improved.

A maximum thickness of the data metal member in a direction perpendicular to the base substrate is greater than a maximum thickness of the semiconductor member in the direction.
