An anchoring unit (24) anchors at least a lowermost riser form carrier (12) in position relative to a substrate (26). A positioning assembly (28) is attached to at least one of the riser form carriers (12-20) and cooperates with the remaining riser form carriers for displacing the carriers (14-20) in unison relative to one other to adopt a staggered operative configuration approximating an angle of the stairway to be formed.

摘要： A tension bar for an edge lift anchor for a concrete panel, the tension bar being shaped to provide a central portion to lie adjacent a head portion of the anchor and legs extending from each end of the central portion, an inner side of each leg being profiled to lock into the surrounding concrete, the profiling being formed by a series of longitudinally spaced formations each of generally saw-toothed shape with a leading edge of each formation facing towards the head portion such that on application of tensile load to the tension bar, the leg will lock into the concrete with a generally compressive loading being applied to the concrete in the zone between the two legs.
