    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for providing channel feedback for multiple spatial streams. In some implementations, the techniques involve generating distinct channel estimates for different respective sets of orthogonal spatial streams. In some implementations, the orthogonality of the different sets of orthogonal spatial streams enables the beamformee to distinguish the spatial streams to provide the separate channel estimates. The beamformee may then determine separate correlations for the different respective sets of spatial streams. In some implementations, the beamformee combines the correlations to determine an average correlation for each of a number of sets of frequency tones. The beamformee may then perform an eigenvalue decomposition on a tone-by-tone basis based on the respective average correlation and the channel estimate obtained for the tone. Because the eigenvalue decomposition may be performed on each of the two sets of spatial streams separately, the complexity involved with performing each eigenvalue decomposition is greatly reduced.

    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, the apparatus may determine whether to transmit a frame with CSDs based on a number of antennas, a number of streams, or both. In another aspect, the apparatus may determine a first set of CSD values for transmitting a first set of information associated with a first portion of the frame. In a further aspect, the apparatus may determine a second set of CSD values for transmitting a second set of information associated with a second portion of the frame. In yet another aspect, the apparatus may transmit the first set of information based on the first set of CSD values and the second set of information based on the second set of CSD values using the number of antennas, the number of streams, or both.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for enabling an immediate response. In this manner, issues can be avoided where data carried by the last symbol of a frame cannot be entirely decoded by a receiver within a deadline for generating an immediate response. One example method for wireless communications by a first apparatus generally includes determining at least one constraint for communicating with a second apparatus; generating a frame that solicits a response; and outputting the frame for transmission to the second apparatus, wherein at least a last symbol of the frame is transmitted in a manner determined by the constraint to allow the second apparatus to transmit the response within a determined period.
