Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring sidelink slots without symbols for automatic gain control. One aspect provides a method for wireless communication by a user equipment, including receiving a first cyclic prefix of a first symbol within a slot at the user equipment. The method further includes configuring a first automatic gain control setting based on a received power in the first cyclic prefix of the first symbol, and receiving a data portion of the first symbol using the first automatic gain control setting.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a synchronization signal block (SSB) including a physical layer cell identifier (PCI), where one or more resource elements carrying the SSB overlap with resource elements carrying a downlink shared channel associated with another PCI. The PCIs may be for a serving cell or another cell, such as a non-serving cell. The UE may also receive one or more demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) in the one or more resource elements in the downlink shared channel. The UE may determine whether overlap is permitted between the resource elements by comparing the PCIs of the SSB and the downlink shared channel. In some examples, once the UE determines whether resource element overlap is permitted, the UE may process the DMRSs.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may obtain high-priority data (e.g., low latency data) to be transmitted to a base station. In some scenarios, the base station may be transmitting downlink transmissions to the UE or to a different UE, or may be receiving uplink transmissions from the UE or from the different UE. The described aspects enable the UE to timely transmit the high-priority data in these scenarios. In one example, the described aspects enable the UE to transmit, to the base station, while the base station performs one or more scheduled downlink transmissions to the UE or to the different UE, at least one of the high-priority data via a first uplink beam from a set of uplink beams for unscheduled uplink transmissions or an unscheduled data indication indicating that the high-priority data is to be transmitted without an uplink grant.

The control message may indicate first and second pluralities of transmission configuration indicators associated with first and second downlink shared channels, respectively. The single control message may indicate to apply a first precoding matrix for transmission of the uplink messages. The UE may precode, using a second precoding matrix, an uplink message to generate a precoded first uplink message. The UE may transmit the precoded uplink message in a first uplink shared channel.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for applying a unified transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state to a downlink reference signal in accordance with a rule or procedure that is mutually known between a user equipment (UE) and one or more components of a base station (BS).
