Abstract:
Aspects described herein relate to receiving, from a base station, a configuration for sending downlink control information (DCI) feedback for a downlink control channel monitoring occasion, where the configuration indicates one or more of an uplink control channel resource and an uplink shared channel resource over which to send the DCI feedback. DCI can be received from the base station over the downlink control channel during the downlink control channel monitoring occasion. DCI feedback can be transmitted, based on receiving the DCI, to the base station over the one or more of the uplink control channel resource and the uplink shared channel resource indicated in the configuration.
Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of one or more resources, assigned to multiple UEs, to be used to transmit a channel quality indicator (CQI) report; receive an indication of a threshold value associated with a range of channel conditions corresponding to a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) being used to communicate with the UE; and selectively transmit the CQI report on the one or more resources based at least in part on whether a measured channel condition is outside of the range of channel conditions by at least the threshold value. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. A traffic window may be scheduled for a user equipment (UE) base on semi-persistent scheduling (SPS). In various situations, all or a portion of a first communication to be transmitted or received can be transmitted or received during an SPS grant in the traffic window. If useful, additionally, a remainder of the first communication not transmitted or received during the SPS grant may be transmitted in an on-demand grant appended to the SPS grant. The on-demand grant can be in a same subframe as the SPS grant. When the BS appends the on-demand grant to the SPS grant, the BS may transmit, and the UE may receive, an indicator indicating that the on-demand grant has been appended to the SPS grant. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Abstract:
Aspects of the disclosure relate to distributed joint access of an unlicensed sidelink channel. Each sidelink device may perform independent and asynchronous listen before talk (LBT) of the unlicensed sidelink channel with a respective back-off time. The first sidelink device to complete back-off may transmit a joint access synchronization (JAS) signal indicating a duration of time that the unlicensed sidelink channel may be accessed by sidelink devices. Synchronized access sharing of the unlicensed sidelink channel across different active sidelinks may then be achieved through distributed handshake signaling.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described techniques for configuring channel state information (CSI) process for a coordinated set of transmission reception points. The techniques for configuring channel state information (CSI) process for a coordinated set of transmission reception points may include receiving a sounding reference signal (SRS) and identifying, based at least in part on the SRS, a first CoMP set of TRPs. The techniques for configuring channel state information (CSI) process for a coordinated set of transmission reception points may also include transmitting a CSI-RS to a UE and receiving CSI from the UE. The techniques for configuring channel state information (CSI) process for a coordinated set of transmission reception points may further include identifying, based at least in part on the CSI, a second CoMP set of TRPs.
Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a communication from a transmission/reception point (TRP), included in a coordinated multipoint network, was not successfully received. The UE may transmit a plurality of negative acknowledgements (NACKs), corresponding to the communication, to a plurality of TRPs included in the coordinated multipoint network based at least in part on determining that the communication was not successfully received. The UE may receive a retransmission of the communication from one or more TRPs of the plurality of TRPs. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter device may transmit, using a plurality of codewords, a plurality of code block groups, wherein the plurality of codewords includes a first codeword associated with a first set of code block groups, of the plurality of code block groups, and a second codeword associated with a second set of code block groups of the plurality of code block groups. The transmitter device may retransmit, after a failure associated with at least one code block group of the first set of code block groups, the at least one code block group using the second codeword. In some aspects, the transmitter may retransmit the at least one code block group using the first codeword and transmit a new transport block using the second codeword. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Abstract:
Aspects of the disclosure relate to communication systems, apparatus and methods which enable or support transmitting/receiving downlink control information (DCI) carrying a downlink grant or an uplink grant. A method includes detecting a reference length based on an effective length of a downlink (DL) grant DCI and an effective length of an uplink (UL) grant DCI and calculating a length difference based on the effective DL grant DCI length and the effective UL grant DCI length. A length of a padding field in the DL grant DCI and/or the UL grant DCI is set equal to the calculated length difference such that the lengths of the DL grant DCI and UL grant DCI are both equal to the reference length. Padding bits are inserted in the padding field of the DL grant DCI and/or the UL grant DCI. Thereafter, the DL grant DCI and/or the UL grant DCI is encoded and transmitted to a scheduled entity.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for downlink retransmission of Code Block Groups (CBGs) in the event of preemption.
Abstract:
In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer program product, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a first node. The first node determines to transmit a first packet to a second node in a first data slot of a first frame. The first data slot being associated with a first reservation resource and a second reservation resource. The first node determines whether the first node has a privilege for the first data slot of the first frame, when the first packet is of priority based traffic. The first node transmits a reservation message to the second node in the first reservation resource when the first node is determined to have the privilege for the first data slot.
