A method for controlling a terminal apparatus includes: arranging, on the basis of taste information regarding a user and menu information regarding a second restaurant indicated by a store ID, first menu items included in the menu information in order according to the taste information; and causing the first menu items arranged in the order according to the taste information to be displayed in a first display area of a display screen of a terminal apparatus, and causing second menu items specified by the second restaurant to be displayed in a second display area of the display screen.

A method includes causing a computer of a communication terminal to perform a process including acquiring, in response to receipt of a beacon signal from a vending machine, identification information, type information of a plurality of drinks, and stock information of the plurality of drinks from the vending machine by using short-range wireless communication; transmitting a user ID of a user of the communication terminal to a personal information server; acquiring biological information that includes a body temperature or a body water percentage of the user corresponding to the user ID from the personal information server; generating, based on the identification information, the type information, the stock information, and the biological information, a push notification screen that recommends at least one drink suitable for hydrating the user to prevent heatstroke; and displaying the push notification screen on a display of the communication terminal.

A control method includes: acquiring chewing/swallowing information via a network from a sensing device with which a user is equipped, wherein the chewing/swallowing information is related to chewing of the user when the user eats a first printed food; determining based on the chewing/swallowing information, a swallow cycle duration of the user, and determining based on a first hardness and the swallow cycle duration, a second hardness for a second printed food to be created by a food printer; and transmitting print control information to the food printer via the network, wherein the print control information being used for causing the food printer to create the second printed food having the determined second hardness.

A management server obtains rating information indicating a second user's rating of a dish or restaurant, generates a first evaluation value of the first user's sense of taste based on a measurement test regarding the sense of taste, and generates a second evaluation value of the second user's sense of taste based on a measurement test regarding the sense of taste. One search filter for filtering dishes or restaurants based on rating results of the dishes or the restaurants rated by a second user who has a sense-of-taste characteristic similar to that of the first user is provided on a dish search screen. When the first user uses the search filter to filter dishes or restaurants, and when a first difference between the first and second evaluation values is in a first predetermined range, the second user's rating results are used to filter the dishes or the restaurant.

A conversion method for converting luminance of a video, including a luminance value in a first luminance range, to be displayed on a display apparatus includes: acquiring a first luminance signal indicating a code value obtained by quantization of the luminance value of the video; and converting the code value indicated by the acquired first luminance signal into a second luminance value determined based on a luminance range of the display apparatus, the second luminance value being compatible with a second luminance range with a maximum value smaller than a maximum value of the first luminance range and larger than 100 nit. This provides the conversion method capable of achieving further improvement.

A display system includes a conversion apparatus converting video luminance including a luminance value in a first luminance range and a display apparatus connected thereto and displaying the video. The conversion apparatus includes a first acquisition unit, a first luminance converter, a second luminance converter, a quantization converter, and an output unit outputting a third luminance signal to the display apparatus. The display apparatus includes: a second acquisition unit acquiring the third luminance signal and setting information indicating display settings recommended to the display apparatus in display of the video; a display setting unit setting the display apparatus, using the setting information; a third luminance converter converting a third code value indicated by the third luminance signal into a second luminance value compatible with a second luminance range, using the setting information; and a display controller displaying the video on the display apparatus based on the second luminance value.

A transmitting method according to one aspect of the present disclosure is a transmitting method of a playback device, and includes: when a version of a transmission protocol is a first version, transmitting first meta data to a display device without transmitting second meta data to the display device, the transmission protocol being used to transmit a signal between the playback device and the display device, the first meta data including information that is commonly used for a plurality of images included in a continuous playback unit of a first video signal and relates to a luminance range of the first video signal, and the second meta data including information that is commonly used for a unit subdivided compared to the continuous playback unit of the first video signal and relates to the luminance range of the first video signal; and when the version of the transmission protocol is a second version, transmitting the first meta data and the second meta data to the display device.
