A control function of the second protocol is informed of interruption in a control function of the first protocol. In response thereto a reordering timer of the second protocol is considered as having expired, and a state variable of the second protocol is updated to equal with a highest received state variable.

Methods and apparatus for control of a device with coexisting radios and capable of carrier aggregation are disclosed. A change in the activation status of a secondary cell can be determined where after interference information to be reported is determined in response to the determined change. The determined interference information is compared to interference information reported previously for a similar change, and a decision is made based thereon whether to send the determined interference information. In a network entity interference information received from at least one device is stored. The stored interference information is used in the control when it is determined that no interference information is received subsequent to a new change in the activation status of the secondary cell.

A method includes determining at a User Equipment (UE) that logged Minimization of Drive Tests measurements (MDT) is configured and thus a plurality of MDT measurements are to be made and results of said measurements are to be stored for reporting at a later time. It is determined that said measurements are to be stopped (suspended) for various reasons (such as the UE being in any cell selection mode or camping on any cell) and information indicating a reason why said measurements are to be stopped (suspended) is stored in the measurement log.

For example, certain LTE systems can benefit from prioritization of uplink (UL) transmissions in case of HARQ feedback repetition, A method can include, when a random access channel preamble collides with ACK/NACK, prioritizing the preamble over ACK/NACK, The method can be performed regardless of repetition being configured or not. Another method can include, when a dedicated scheduling request or a msg3 collides with an ACK/NACK repetition, conditionally prioritizing the dedicated scheduling request or the msg3 transmission.

Method and apparatuses for handling transition of a connected device to an unsynchronised state are disclosed. In accordance with a method a trigger for move from a synchronised state is determined where after a control channel for the synchronised state is released and a move to the unsynchronised state is performed while remaining connected based on a discontinuous reception configuration defined for the unsynchronised state. The discontinuous reception configuration can be sent to the device. Control information can be sent to the device according to the discontinuous reception configuration.
