Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus of transmitting uplink (UL) information and a method and apparatus of receiving UL information. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the method of transmitting UL information comprises transmitting a reference signal using a first sequence; and transmitting UL control information using a second sequence; wherein a reference signal and the UL control information are staggered-multiplexed in frequency domain. With embodiments of the present disclosure, the uplink information can be transmitted in reduced uplink symbols so as to adapt for a proposed subframe structure with reduced uplink symbols and thus, the transmission latency can be reduced greatly.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, terminal device and apparatus for transmitting a physical random access channel (PRACH) and a method, network device and apparatus for receiving the PRACH. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the method of transmitting PRACH comprises transmitting a physical random access channel, wherein the transmitted physical random access channel is different from a physical random access channel for initial access in at least one of parameter and structure. With embodiments of the present disclosure, the overhead of the PRACH transmission can be reduced in some cases, like a beam recovery request transmission and on-demand system information request transmission.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and devices for reference signal (RS) transmission. In example embodiments, a method implemented in a network device is provided. According to the method, a plurality of RS ports to be used for RS transmission are divided into a plurality of groups by the network device. An indication of at least one group of RS ports selected from the plurality of groups is transmitted to a terminal device served by the network device. A RS configuration for the terminal device is determined based on the at least one group of RS ports. Information on the RS configuration is transmitted to the terminal device.

In this way, a beam for the second cell can be indicated according to the TCI state indicated by the first cell before serving cell change; accordingly, the latency, the overhead and the interruption time during the inter-cell mobility can be reduced.
