Abstract: Disclosed is a mobile terminal devised to achieve a reduced F-number and an increased T-number by enhancing the brightness of an optical system provided therein. In the mobile terminal including an optical module that configures a single optical system, the optical module includes a lens group configured with five or more refractive lenses including at least one glass lens. The glass lens has a thickness equal to or greater than 0.3 mm, an effective diameter equal to or greater than 1.5 mm and equal to or less than 8.0 mm, a refractive index below 1.6, and an Abbe's number equal to or greater than 60.

Abstract: A mobile terminal including a terminal body; and a camera module provided in the terminal body. The camera module includes a lens assembly; an image sensor provided at a lower end of the lens assembly; a first actuator mounted with a first filter and a second filter provided on one side of the lens assembly to filter light incident on the image sensor, wherein the first actuator comprises first and second support walls, and a first plate supported by the first and second support walls and supporting the first and second filters; a filter change device configured to move the first filter to overlap with the lens assembly in a first state and to move the second filter to overlap with the lens assembly in a second state; and a cover constituting an appearance of the camera module and including a through hole corresponding to an optical axis of the camera module, the cover having an inner space accommodating the lens assembly and the first actuator.

Abstract: A glass type mobile terminal is provided. The mobile terminal includes a band frame wearable on a user's head, a light transmissive lens coupled to the band frame to be located in front the user wearing the band frame, the light transmissive lens comprising a transparent screen where an image is focused, a projector for outputting an image toward the transparent screen from a lateral surface of the light transmissive lens, a photo shutter coupled to a front surface of the lens, with a controllable transparency, and a controller for controlling the transparency of the photo shutter, such that the visibility of the image focused on the light transmissive lens may be enhanced by controlling the transparency of the light transmissive lens, using the photo shutter, that a clear image may be seen even in a bright place.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a mobile terminal comprising a liquid lens including: a side wall part; a first and a second glass layer which cover one surface and the other surface of the side wall part, respectively, to form a receiving part; a plurality of electrode modules, each of which is positioned on the side wall part and includes a first and a second electrode; an insulation layer covering the first electrode; a nonpolar liquid filled in the receiving part; and a polar liquid which is separated from the polar liquid in layers, is filled in the receiving part, and is in contact with the second electrode, wherein a boundary surface between the nonpolar liquid and the polar liquid changes into a shape protruding toward the polar liquid as a voltage applied to the electrode modules increases, and a control part differently controls at least a part of the voltage applied to the plurality of electrode modules to adjust a position of a protrusion of the boundary surface.
