摘要: A mixed mode programming method permitting users to program with graphical coding blocks and textual code within the same programming tool. The mixed mode preserves the advantages of graphical block programming while introducing textual coding as needed for instructional reasons and/or for functional reasons. Converting a graphical code block or group of blocks to a textual block lets the user see a portion of the textual code in the context of a larger program. Within one programming tool the mixed mode method allows users to learn programming and build purely graphical blocks; then transition into mixed graphical and textual code and ultimately lead to their ability to program in purely textual code. The mixed mode further allows users to program using any combination of drag-and-drop graphical blocks and typed textual code in various forms.

摘要: The present invention includes a pair of boxing robots. Each robot includes at least one wheel and at least one arm controllable through a control system on the robot that is in communication with a user control unit. The control system has at least one axis of inertial sensing to support balancing of the robot. Preprogrammed algorithms are configured to include a balance algorithm to (a) maintain the robot upright during movement and actions, (b) maintain the robot upright upon sensing impact or force onto the robot, (c) cause the robot to fall prone upon sensing a strong impact or force (defined above a threshold) or sensing repeated impacts above a threshold number, and (d) create specified movement to mimic swagger, loss of energy, and additional wobble to imitate dazing. A set of preprogrammed instructions to (a) control wheels to move the robot, (b) control arms to mimic punching.

摘要: An improved server frame for securing equipment thereto. The server frame includes four corner secured between a base and a top. Each corner has a plurality of standard openings to receive ends of a standard rail system used to secure the equipment to the frame. The improvement defined by four interior posts, each has a base plate and an arm plate extending from the base plate. Each interior post is separately secured about the corner post. Each arm plate includes rail apertures. A pair of outer rails secured from the front to the rear of the server frame. Each outer rail has rear and front rear facing hooks configured to allow the outer rail to slide into engagement with the rail apertures on the interior posts, such that the outer rails are configured to receive inner rails secured to equipment for sliding the equipment into the server frame.

摘要: In one embodiment there is a toy vehicle having a motor configured to cause a motion of an element of the toy. The motion of the element further accessible for manipulation by a human to in turn rotate the motor. The toy vehicle further having a processor configured to detect a back electromotive force (“EMF”) voltage generated by the rotation of the motor due to the manipulation by a human, and the processor being further configured to include at least a sleep state and a wake state. The processor have a function configured to transition between the sleep state and the wake state when the detected back EMF voltage reaches a pre-determined value.

摘要: In one embodiment there is provided a mechanical device capable of mimicking a serpentine motion. The mechanical device includes a plurality of segmented portions interconnected consecutively at pivoted junctions. A rotational motor and an eccentric weight are secured about one segmented portion and at least one pair of legs extends from a segmented portion towards a contact surface and causes the segmented portion to move in a direction defined as the rotational motor rotates the eccentric weight. The additional segmented portions following the segmented leg portion follow in a serpentine motion as these portions rock and pivot to counter-balance the undulation caused by the segmented leg portion.

摘要: In one embodiment there is a toy skateboard having two configurations. In the first configuration, a pair of non-motorized truck assemblies are attached to the deck, and the upper surface of the deck has a finger engaging region for a user's fingers to engage and move the skateboard. In the second configuration, the rear non-motorized truck assembly is replaced with a motorized rear truck assembly, wherein the movement of the skateboard is controlled by the processor in response to remote signals. In addition, the processor may detect a back EMF voltage generated by the rotation of a motor caused by a manual manipulation of a wheel controlled by the motor. The processor would have sleep and wake states and would transition between the two when the detected back EMF voltage reaches a pre-determined value.

摘要: In one embodiment there is provided an aquatic toy configured for movement under water. The aquatic toy employs sensors to automatically turn on when placed in water and further employs a timing circuit to automatically turn the toy off after a predetermined amount of time. The aquatic toy further includes a shock sensor to monitor movement of the toy when in water and after the timer expires. Movement such as tapping on the tank, splashing the water, or physical movement of the toy will turn on the toy and re-activate the timer. However, the sensors can further detect when the toy is dry to ensure the shock sensor is only active when the sensor is wet.
