    Abstract: This application provides an information reporting method, including: receiving configuration information sent by a network device, where the configuration information is used to configure a first resource set and a second resource set, the first resource set is used for channel measurement, the second resource set is used for interference measurement, identifiers that are of N first resources and that are in the first resource set are in a one-to-one correspondence with identifiers that are of N second resources and that are in the second resource set, and N is an integer greater than 1, where if the identifiers of the N second resources are the same, receive parameters of the N first resources are the same; measuring signal strengths on the N first resources, to obtain N first signal strengths. According to this application, overheads of interference measurement resources are reduced.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides communication methods and apparatuses. One example method includes that after receiving a cell handover command, a terminal device determines discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration information of a target cell. The DRX configuration information of the target cell is consistent with DRX configuration information of a source cell.     Abstract: This application provides a beam failure recovery method and an apparatus to reduce implementation complexity of a terminal in a BFR procedure. The method includes: A terminal receives configuration information sent by a network device, where the configuration information is used to indicate one or more uplink signal resources; the terminal sends an uplink signal based on the configuration information, and the network device measures the uplink signal and determines beam quality of an uplink resource corresponding to the uplink signal; and the network device sends a first response message to the terminal based on a measurement result of the uplink signal when a beam failure occurs, so that the terminal determines that a beam failure recovery succeeds. The technical solutions in this application are applicable to the BFR procedure.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a wireless communication method and an apparatus. The method includes: determining a target MCS if a current MCS exceeds a predetermined threshold, where the target MCS is an MCS less than or equal to the predetermined threshold; mapping a PTRS to one or more symbols based on the target MCS; and sending, to a terminal device, the symbol to which the PTRS is mapped. through implementation of the embodiments of this application, when the current MCS exceeds the predetermined threshold, the target MCS that is less than or equal to the predetermined threshold may be determined, so that a density of a PTRS on a time-frequency resource can be flexibly determined based on the target MCS and an association relationship between an MCS threshold and a time domain density of a PTRS, thereby helping reduce resource overheads of the PTRS.

    Abstract: This application provides a resource management method and apparatus. A terminal determines at least one reference signal resource corresponding to each of at least two frequency domain resources, and selects at least two reference signal resources from a plurality of reference signal resources corresponding to the at least two frequency domain resources, where the at least two selected reference signal resources are reference signal resources corresponding to at least two different frequency domain resources. In other words, some of the at least two reference signal resources are selected from a plurality of reference signal resources corresponding to one frequency domain resource, and other reference signal resources are selected from a plurality of reference signal resources corresponding to another frequency domain resource. In this way, the terminal can simultaneously receive data sent by a network device by using reference signal resources corresponding to different frequency domain resources, thereby improving communication efficiency.
