    Abstract: A technique for managing mobility configuration in a UE includes obtaining conditional configuration information including (i) a conditional configuration related to a candidate cell in the RAN, and (ii) a condition to be satisfied before the UE applies the configuration (1202).     Abstract: A security key management method can be implemented a user equipment (UE) capable of concurrent communication with a master node (MN) and a secondary node (SN). The method includes transitioning (504) from a connected state in which the UE communicates with the MN using a first security key and with the SN using a second security key (502), to an inactive state in which a radio connection between the UE and a radio access network (RAN) is suspended. As part of the methods and systems, a base station wirelessly communicating with a user equipment that is in an engaged mode determines to configure a common search space through which the user equipment can receive a system information block that is other than a system information block type 1 or a master information block. The base station transmits a first message that includes a set of common search space configuration parameters for the user equipment to receive the other system information block.     Abstract: A UE that is connected to a wireless communication system via a first base station utilizing a first RAT enters into an inactive state of a first protocol corresponding to the first RAT. The UE (re)selects a second base station utilizing a second RAT for resuming its connection with the system, transitions into an inactive state of a second protocol corresponding to the second RAT, and requests the second base station to resume the UE's system connection. The second base station obtains UE context information from the first base station, and transmits associated context/configuration information to the UE. Based on the received context/configuration information, the UE configures, enters into a connected state of the second protocol, and begins transmitting/receiving data to/from the system via the second base station. The second base station informs the first base station of the UE's resumed connection with the system via the second base station.

    Abstract: One or more processors, operating in a source base station and/or a target base station, determines a change in the termination point from the source base station to the target base station for a radio bearer with a current count value according to data unit sequencing.     Abstract: To efficiently support location services, abase station receives an uplink (UL) message from a user equipment (UE) (2002). The base station determines whether the UL message includes a positioning protocol message associated with a positioning protocol for exchanging information related to a location service (2004). In a first instance, in response to determining that the UL message includes the positioning protocol message, the base station sends the positioning protocol message to a local entity that implements a location service (2010). In a second instance, in response to determining that the message does not include any positioning protocol messages, the base station sends at least some of the data included in the UL message to a remote node (2012).
