Abstract: A display device includes: an optical waveguide layer having a light-entering region and a light-exiting region; an optical element correspondingly arranged in the light-entering region and configured to emit at least two types of light beams having different image information, to transmit the at least two types of light beams to the light-entering region of the optical waveguide layer; at least two coupling gratings arranged on transmission paths of the at least two types of light beams in the optical waveguide layer, and configured to change a direction of each of the at least two types of light beams in the optical waveguide layer, to enable light beams in the at least two types of light beams in the optical waveguide layer to be transmitted to the light-exiting region, exit from the light-exiting region and be converged at at least one view point.

The refractive layer includes a refractive lens unit. The refractive lens unit converges the diffracted light dispersed by means of the diffraction caused by the first grating layer when the backlight unit is in operation.

Abstract: A backlight module, including a light-emitting unit, emergent light of which passes through a packaging layer and then is transmitted to a surface of a first reflective layer, then passes through the surface of the first reflective layer and passes through the packaging layer again, enters a light-transmitting substrate from the packaging layer, and is emitted from the side of the light-transmitting substrate distant from the light-emitting unit. The thicknesses of the packaging layer and the light-transmitting substrate are effectively utilized to increase an optical path, thereby reducing the thickness of the backlight module. The first reflective layer is Lambertian. The side of the first reflective layer near the light-transmitting substrate and the side distant from the light-transmitting substrate allow the emergent light transmitted to the surface thereof to be scattered and homogenized to increase the optical path again, and can also function as diffusor plates.
