摘要: A method of processing signals in a radio processing apparatus of a base station may include obtaining a plurality of aggregated data symbols, wherein each of the plurality of aggregated data symbols corresponds to a receive terminal of a plurality of receive terminals of the base station and is composed of transmitted data symbols from a plurality of transmit terminals; applying a compression filter to the plurality of aggregated data symbols to reduce the plurality of aggregated data symbols into a plurality of isolated data symbols, the compression filter being based on channel estimates between the plurality of receive terminals and the plurality of transmit terminals; and transmitting the plurality of isolated data symbols to a baseband processing apparatus of the base station.

摘要: Devices and methods of simultaneous data reception and measurement are generally described. A UE transmits to an eNB antenna capacity and receives a Beamformed Reference Signal (BRS) configuration in response. Beamformed signals from the eNB include a BRS subframe in accordance with the BRS configuration. The BRS subframe has a BRS whose structure depends on the UE antenna capacity. If the UE has a single antenna panels, neither an EPDCCH nor a PDSCH for the UE is in the BRS frame. If the UE has a single antenna panels and multiple ports or multiple antenna panels, the BRS may contain an EPDCCH or PDSCH for the UE as different ports or antenna panels may be assigned different functionality. The UE measures BRS Received Power (BRS-RP) of the BRS, transmits a BRS report based on the BRS-RP and selects an optimal beam based on BRS-RPs from BRSs of the beams.

The UE can decode the G-DCI received from the gNB in a MulteFire system. The UE can identify grant less uplink DCI components included in the G-DCI. The UE can perform a grant less uplink transmission with the gNB based on the grant less uplink DCI components in the G-DCI received from the gNB.

摘要: Techniques described herein can facilitate Channel-State Information (CSI) measurement and feedback for communication in unlicensed spectrum or Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) transmission and/or channel-state estimation for communication in unlicensed spectrum. In an example, an apparatus is configured to be employed in a User Equipment (UE), and the apparatus comprises a Radio Frequency (RF) circuitry interface and processing circuitry configured to perform CSI measurement for communication in unlicensed spectrum. The apparatus further generates data for feedback according to the CSI measurement, and sends the data for feedback to RF circuitry via the RF circuitry interface. In an example, a frame structure of a data channel begins with a downlink (DL) transmission or soon after an initial signal. In an example, the CSI measurement includes measuring Channel Quality Information (CQI) for one or more sub-bands.

摘要: Technology for a Next Generation NodeB (gNB) operable to communicate over an anchor channel for Unlicensed Internet of Things (U-IoT) is disclosed. The gNB can encode control information for transmission on two discovery reference signal (DRS) subframes to a user equipment (UE). The control information can be transmitted on an anchor channel having a set frequency for U-IoT in an adaptive frequency hopping system. The control information can include: a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) transmission, and a system information block for MulteFire bandwidth reduced (SIB-MF-BR).

摘要: Apparatus that sends uplink control information (UCI) from user equipment (UE) to a network node, generates elements of the UCI including at least one of hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback for one or more uplink (UL) resources, a scheduling request (SR), a channel state information (CSI) report and a beam related information report in response to a trigger set by the network node. The apparatus encodes the UCI elements for transmission via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) of the one or more UL resources. The one or more UL resources may be UL slots or UL portions of downlink-uplink (DL-UL) slots received from a network node.

摘要: Technology for a user equipment (UE) using a self-contained scheduling resource to communicate with an eNodeB within a wireless communication network is disclosed. The UE can select, at the UE, a selected eNodeB transmission (Tx) beam and a selected UE reception (Rx) beam based on a highest power beamforming reference signal (BRS) received power (BRS-RP). The UE can signal a transceiver of the UE to transmit to the eNodeB a scheduling request (SR), using the selected Rx beam, on a scheduling request (SR) resource in a self-contained subframe according to a time and frequency location of the selected eNodeB Tx beam. The UE can process an advanced physical downlink control channel (xPDCCH), received from the eNodeB, for an uplink (UL) grant using the selected UE RX beam.
