Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide for system and methods to crowdsource the location of wireless devices and accessories that lack a connection to a wide area network. One embodiment provides for a data processing system configured to perform operations comprising loading a user interface on an electronic device, the user interface to enable the determination of a location of a wireless accessory that is associated with the electronic device, generating a set of public keys included within a signal broadcast by the wireless accessory, the signal broadcast during a first period, sending the set of public keys to a server with a request to return data that corresponds with a public key in the set of public keys, decrypting the location data using a private key associated with the public key, and processing the location data to determine a probable location for the wireless accessory.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide for a non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions to cause one or more processor to perform operations comprising establishing a wireless connection with a beacon peripheral, monitoring a connection state of the wireless connection, in response to detecting a loss of connection with the beacon peripheral, posting a separation notification for the beacon peripheral to a notification framework of the electronic device, deferring display of the notification during a reconnect interval, attempting to reconnect with the beacon peripheral during the reconnect interval, and displaying the separation notification via a user interface in response to a failure to reconnect with the beacon peripheral.

Abstract: A messaging system, in one embodiment, can establish messaging accounts for a plurality of organizations (e.g. businesses) to allow customers or users of the organizations to conduct two-way messaging sessions between a customer and an organization. The messaging system can use a registration portal to allow an organization to set up a business/organization messaging account by providing account information. The account information can then be used to update one or more searchable databases that allow a customer to have multiple entry points into a messaging session with each of the registered businesses in the messaging system. For example, a search through a web browser or a map application can provide search results that contain or otherwise provide access to a selectable messaging option that is presented on a customer's device.

Abstract: A mobile device that displays a list of traveling maneuvers or driving directions according to a route from a start location to a destination location is provided. The displayed list of driving directions includes a series of graphical items that each corresponds to a maneuver in the route. The displayed list of driving directions is updated dynamically according to the current position of the mobile device. Each maneuver actually taken or traveled causes the mobile device to display the item that corresponds to the taken maneuver differently. After a number of maneuvers have been taken, the graphical items that correspond to the taken maneuvers are removed from display and new maneuvers are brought into view.

Abstract: A communications system may include user equipment (UE) that transmits data to a recipient via a network. The UE may receive user input and may generate the data based on the input. When a terrestrial network is unavailable to the UE, the UE may transmit segments of the data over a satellite constellation as the UE continues to receive input and while connectivity to the constellation exceeds a threshold. If a portion of the input includes an edit to a previous segment, the UE may include an edit flag in the corresponding segment. Once input has finished, the UE may sign the segments and may transmit a signature over the constellation. The network may store the segments as received from the constellation, may replace edited segments with more recent segments containing edit flags, and may compile and transmit all of the segments to the recipient upon receipt of the signature.
