    Abstract: An electronic device is in communication with one or more wearable audio output devices. The electronic device detects occurrence of an event and outputs, via the one or more wearable audio output devices, one or more audio notifications corresponding to the event. After beginning to output the one or more audio notifications, the electronic device detects an input directed to the one or more wearable audio output devices. In response, if the input is detected within a predefined time period with respect to the one or more audio notifications corresponding to the event, the electronic device performs a first operation associated with the one or more audio notifications corresponding to the event; and, if the input is detected after the predefined time period has elapsed, the electronic device performs a second operation not associated with the one or more audio notifications corresponding to the first event.

    Abstract: Certain embodiments relate generally to modifying audio playing on a first device based on detection of that audio by a second device. Other embodiments relate to transferring audio between a first device and a second device. More particularly, audio playing from a first device may be muted, stopped, or adjusted in volume based on detection of that audio by, or interaction with, a second device. Likewise, audio may be transferred from a first device to a second device based on communications between the first and second devices, proximity of the first and second devices relative to one another, proximity of a user to either the first or second device, and so on.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, non-transitory computer-readable medium stores instructions for establishing a trusted two-way communications session for account creation for an online store, which include instructions for causing a processor to perform operations comprising retrieving and verifying a signed configuration file from a server, requesting a communication session using the configuration file, receiving a payload of account creation forms from a network client, signing the payload according to the server configuration file, and sending the signed payload containing account creation information to the server. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method comprises analyzing timestamps for requests for data forms for supplying account creation information for evidence of automated account creation activity and rejecting the request for the locator of the second account creation form if evidence of automated account creation activity is detected. Methods for secure account authentication and asset purchase are also disclosed.
