    摘要: Method and system (10) for transporting products (2). A conveyor surface (1) is moving at a conveyor velocity (VI). Products (2) are provided on the conveyor surface (1) in a measurement zone (M). The products (2) move through the measurement zone (M) with a product velocity (V2) that is at least initially different than the conveyor velocity (VI). A contact between the products (2) and the relatively moving conveyor surface (1) causes the products (2) to accelerate or decelerate (a) in the measurement zone (M) depending on a kinetic friction coefficient (μk) there between. A control signal (S) is indicative of the acceleration or deceleration (a) of the products (2) in the measurement zone (M). The kinetic friction coefficient (μk) is controlled based on the control signal (S) to keep the acceleration or deceleration (a) within a predetermined threshold range.

The designated position is calculated as a function of the cycle time and the displacement velocity of the conveyor belt.

    摘要: A modular conveyor (1) comprising a conveyor mat or chain (2) constructed of a series of links (3) hingedly connected together into an endless loop arranged to be circulated around two spaced diverting wheel units (4, 5). Each link is positioned at a pitch distance from an adjacent link, which pitch distance is at least substantially the same throughout the conveyor mar or chain. At least one of the diverting wheel units (5) comprises a drive shaft (9), a drive wheel (10) mounted on the drive shaft and drivingly engaging the conveyor mat or chain and further an upper idler wheel (12) mounted on an idler wheel shaft. The upper idler wheel shaft is positioned above the drive wheel shaft, such that intermediate distance between said upper idler wheel shaft and drive shaft equals a distance of (n times the pitch distance+substantially a ½ time the pitch distance).

The carrier further includes a conveyor guide track (26) that is lowered with respect to the slide over surface and that extends transversely to the fingers, and that in use is provided with a cross conveyor belt (6) movable in a conveying direction transversely to the fingers, so that a conveying surface (9) of the cross conveyor belt forms a conveying part (27) of the slide-over surface that is substantially contiguous to and flush with the comb shaped part (24). At a side opposite to the fingers the carrier further includes a hinge connection (29) extending transversely to the fingers, and being spaced apart from the fingers.     摘要: Modular conveyor chain, comprising a number of successive, mutually hingedly connected modules. The modules each comprise a link portion made of sheet metal that has a body part that forms a conveying surface. The body part is provided with a centrally located coupling piece on one side thereof, and a pair of interspaced coupling pieces on an opposite side thereof that include an interspace in between. The coupling pieces of successive modules cooperate to form a hinge assembly because the centrally located coupling piece of a link portion is received in the interspace between the interspaced coupling pieces of a link portion of a successive module, and because a hinge pin extends through aligned receiving spaces of the cooperating coupling pieces. The modular conveyor chain further includes a plastic bearing element received between the centrally located coupling piece and the hinge pin. The hinge pin has a substantially constant cross section, and a central portion of the hinge pin is provided with a bearing element that has a closed cross section and extends along the hinge pin at the location of the central coupling element only. Opposing ends of the hinge pins are each provided with an end cap that includes a mantle portion that extends along the hinge pin at the location of an interspaced coupling piece only, and a radially inwardly extending flange portion that cooperates with an end face of the hinge pin.
