Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource configuration, the SRS resource configuration indicating at least a comb pattern for at least one SRS resource allocated to the UE and a puncturing unit for the comb pattern, wherein the comb pattern is divided into one or more puncturing units, wherein each puncturing unit comprises one or more time units of the comb pattern, and wherein each of the one or more time units comprises two or more symbols, and refrains from transmitting all SRS transmissions of the at least one SRS resource within a first puncturing unit of the one or more puncturing units based on a determination that one or more SRS transmissions of the at least one SRS resource within the first puncturing unit are to be dropped.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration that indicates a set of channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) to be measured by the UE for deriving channel state information (CSI), one or more time domain resources for which the UE is to derive the CSI, and a time domain resource for transmission of a CSI report that includes the CSI, wherein the one or more time domain resources for which the UE is to derive the CSI occur after the time domain resource for transmission of the CSI report; determine that the UE cannot measure a first subset of CSI-RSs included in the set of CSI-RSs; derive one or more parameters for the CSI report based at least in part on measuring a second subset of CSI-RSs included in the set of CSI-RSs; and transmit the CSI report in the time domain resource for transmission of the CSI report.

Abstract: A method of facilitating position determination of a user equipment includes: receiving, at the user equipment, a first plurality of positioning reference signal portions having a corresponding plurality of frequency sub-bands; processing, at the user equipment, one or more of the first plurality of positioning reference signal portions to determine position information; and at least one of: transmitting a capability message, to a network entity, indicating a processing capability of the user equipment to process, in combination, positioning reference signal portions having different frequency sub-bands to determine the position information; or transmitting a signal-combination indication, to the network entity, indicating a second plurality of positioning reference signal portions, of the first plurality of positioning reference signal portions, processed by the user equipment in combination to determine the position information.

Abstract: Techniques are discussed herein identify transmission strategies and to communicate those identified transmission strategies in a transparent communication environment. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may identify a new transmission strategy for a downlink channel different from a current transmission strategy for the down link channel. The UE may transmit a channel state information (CSI) message that includes an indication of the new transmission strategy identified by the UE. In some examples, a base station may identify the new transmission strategy for the downlink channel. The base station may transmit a codebook subset restriction (CSR) indicator that includes an indication of the new transmission strategy identified by the base station. In some examples, the UE may modify its feedback strategy based on the new transmission strategy.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, a request to provide an enhanced positioning measurement report comprising a positioning measurement and further comprising a report of components of a channel power delay profile (PDP), a report of a probability distribution of times of arrival (ToA), or both. The UE may determine an enhanced measurement period required by the UE to perform the enhanced positioning measurement, wherein the enhanced measurement period is longer than a standard measurement period required by the UE to perform a non-enhanced positioning measurement. The UE may perform the enhanced positioning measurement using the enhanced measurement period. The UE may provide the enhanced positioning measurement report to the network entity.

Abstract: A muting configuration for downlink positioning reference signals (PRS) is based on the slot type in which the PRS is transmitted. A slot type muting configuration mutes PRS if the PRS are transmitted in a full duplex slot, such as an in-band full duplex slot. If the PRS are transmitted in a sub-band full duplex slot, the PRS may be muted depending on whether the base station is capable of self-interference cancellation. The slot type muting configuration does not mute the PRS transmission in a half-duplex slot. The slot type muting configuration may be dynamic and may be provided to a user equipment (UE) in lower layer signaling to improve latency. The slot type muting configuration may be combined with other types of muting configurations, such as inter-instance muting, intra-instance muting, and intra-slot muting, e.g., using a logic function to combine the configurations.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a UE transmits, at a first time during a measurement window for positioning purposes, a first uplink reference signal in accordance with a first timing adjustment parameter, wherein the first time is offset from a downlink frame time of a base station by an amount of the first timing adjustment parameter, determines whether to use a second timing adjustment parameter, transmits, in response to the determination to use the second timing adjustment parameter, at a second time during the measurement window, a second uplink reference signal in accordance with a second timing adjustment parameter, wherein the second time is offset from the downlink frame time of the base station by an amount of the second timing adjustment parameter, and transmits a report indicating that the second timing adjustment parameter has been applied to at least the second uplink reference signal.

Abstract: In an aspect, a network entity may receive download control information (DCI) indicating a first scrambling identification value, a second scrambling identification value, and a scrambling selection value, wherein the scrambling selection value has either a first scrambling selection value or a second scrambling selection value. The network entity may be configured, based on the scrambling selection value, to transmit or receive DMRS on a group of code division multiplexed (CDM) antenna ports based on either the first DMRS symbol sequence, the second DMRS symbol sequence, or the third DMRS symbol sequence.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques to determine a position of a user equipment (UE). In an aspect, the UE receives a plurality of positioning reference signals (PRS) from a plurality of cells. The UE determines a plurality of time of arrivals (TOA) of the plurality of PRSs, and prunes the plurality of TOAs based on the plurality of PRSs. The UE then derives a time difference of arrival (TDOA) vector from the pruned TOAs. The TDOA vector includes multiple TOA related measurements of multiple cells. The UE prunes the TOAs such that the cells represented in the TDOA vector are sufficiently geographically dispersed to determine the position of the UE at least in 2D.
