The UE may transmit, to the base station via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) format 1 and based at least in part on the downlink data, a first hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) bit associated with a high priority using a first quantity of symbols. The UE may transmit, to the base station via the PUCCH format 1 and based at least in part on the downlink data, a second HARQ-ACK bit associated with a low priority using a second quantity of symbols that is less than the first quantity of symbols.     Abstract: Control information such as downlink control information (DCI) may be used to indicate whether the DCI is for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) cancellation. For example, the base station may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), first DCI to trigger an SPS configuration of a plurality of SPS occasions. The base station may further determine to cancel one or more SPS occasions of the plurality of SPS occasions, and transmit second DCI to trigger an SPS cancellation that cancels the one or more SPS occasions, the second DCI including at least a redundancy version field including one or more redundancy version values to indicate the SPS cancellation.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support multiple stages of beamforming for a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS). A network entity may configure a RIS controller and a user equipment (UE) with a multi-stage beamforming configuration for a RIS. The configuration may be associated with multiple stages of beamforming that include a first stage and one or more second stages that refine one or more characteristics of the first stage. The network entity may also transmit a message indicating a beam training procedure for one or more of the multiple stages, where the beam training procedure may include communicating reference signals between the network entity and the UE, via the RIS. The network entity and the UE may perform the beam training procedure, and based on a result of the beam training procedure the RIS controller may configure one or more beamforming matrices for the RIS.

In some aspects, an energy harvesting (EH) device may receive a discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration that indicates a DRX on-duration for data communication and an EH configuration that indicates a reserved EH duration during which the first device harvests energy and does not transmit or receive data. The DRX on-duration and the reserved EH duration may be part of a periodic cycle. The EH device may perform data communication during the DRX on-duration.     Abstract: A communication device receives, from another communication device, a set of transmissions over a sidelink shared channel, or over a downlink shared channel (1005). The communication device estimates a Doppler spread or a delay spread based on the received set of transmissions over the shared channel (1010). The communication device selects a reference signal configuration, from multiple reference signal configurations, based on the estimated Doppler spread or the estimated delay spread (1015). The reference signal is a DMRS, a PTRS and/or a TRS. Finally, the communication device transmits feedback indicating the selected reference signal configuration for a subsequent set of transmissions over the shared channel (1020).
