Abstract: This application discloses a radio resource measurement method, a radio resource selection method, and an apparatus. A terminal obtains a measurement result of a beam; and the terminal sends, to a network device, first indication information used to instruct to deactivate or delete a beam, where the beam satisfies a first quality condition. In addition, the terminal may further obtain a measurement result of the beam, and send, to the network device, second indication information used to instruct to activate or add the beam, to instruct the network device to activate or add a beam having relatively good communication quality, for communication with the terminal.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an access control method, a terminal device, and a radio access network device. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, access control information sent by a radio access network device; when the terminal device needs to initiate access or a service, checking, by the terminal device, a first check item obtained in a predetermined order from a plurality of check items in the access control information; obtaining, by the terminal device when the terminal device belongs to a target object indicated by first target object information included in the first check item, a first check result based on the first check item; and when the first check item is not a last check item of the plurality of check items, determining, by the terminal device, the first check result as a final result based on the first check result and first result processing information of the first check item, or checking a second check item obtained in the predetermined order from the plurality of check items. According to the embodiments of this application, flexible access may be implemented.

Abstract: A multimedia broadcast multicast communication method, an apparatus, and a system are provided. The method includes: receiving, by a base station, first indication information at a first time, where the first indication information is used to indicate that transmitting service data in a multimedia broadcast multicast service MBSFN manner is to be suspended; and sending, by the base station, second indication information to user equipment UE according to the first indication information, so that the UE suspends, at a second time according to the second indication information, receiving the service data in the MBSFN manner. The first time is earlier than the second time, and duration between the first time and the second time is less than a multicast control channel MCCH modification period. The user equipment is notified in a more timely manner to suspend transmitting the service data in the MBSFN manner.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a wireless communications method and system, a base station, and user equipment. The base station includes: a signaling transmission module, configured to transmit downlink control signaling to user equipment on a first frequency band; and a data transmission module, connected to the signaling transmission module and configured to transmit downlink user data to the user equipment by using a beamforming technology on a second frequency band, where the first frequency band and the second frequency band belong to a same cell and are synchronous, a frequency of the first frequency band is lower than a frequency of the second frequency band, and a bandwidth of the first frequency band is less than a bandwidth of the second frequency band. According to the foregoing disclosed content, the present invention can improve system performance.

Abstract: A method includes: determining, by a terminal device, M pilots of N air interface technologies on a carrier, where each of the N air interface technologies corresponds to one of the M pilots; measuring, by the terminal device, at least one cell by using the M pilots, to generate a measurement report; and determining, by the terminal device, a target cell in the at least one cell based on the measurement report. After determining the target cell, the terminal device may access the target cell. In this way, a plurality of services that are greatly different may be transmitted by using the N air interface technologies, corresponding air interface technologies are provided based on different service requirements of the terminal device, and resources may be dynamically allocated to the plurality of air interface technologies, thereby effectively improving radio resource utilization.
