Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier for a communication between the UE and a base station using a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration or a configured grant (CG) configuration, wherein the determination of the HARQ process identifier is based at least in part on an offset applied for the determination of the HARQ process identifier; and perform the communication based at least in part on the HARQ process identifier. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In an example, a method includes a first node receiving a precision time protocol (PTP) message, identifying one or more timing domains to be supported by the first node based at least in part on the PTP message, and sending, to a second node of the wireless communication network, an indicator of the one or more timing domains to be supported by the first node. Another example at a node includes receiving, from additional nodes of the wireless communication network, indicators of one or more timing domains supported by the additional nodes, receiving a PTP message associated with a timing domain, and sending the PTP message to a subset of the additional nodes based at least in a part on the indicators of one or more timing domains supported by the additional nodes.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for aperiodic sounding reference signal (SRS) transmissions. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) or a network entity may determine one or more time intervals for sounding reference signal (SRS) transmissions from a type of link, such as a link with another UE or a link with the network entity, used to communicate control signaling that triggers the SRS transmissions for the UE. A time interval in which the UE may not expect to transmit SRSs after receiving the control signaling, a time interval between the control signaling and the associated SRSs, a time interval between the control signaling and reception of one or more channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) used for precoding the SRSs, or any combination thereof, may be increased by an additional offset when the control signaling triggering the SRSs is received via the cooperative link.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, control signaling indicating a configuration for establishing a dual connectivity connection. The dual connectivity connection may include a wireless local area network (WLAN) link and a cellular network link. The UE may establish the WLAN link or the cellular network link as a primary link of the dual connectivity connection. The primary link may be reconfigurable between the WLAN link and the cellular network link. The dual connectivity connection may support a single radio resource control connection associated with the primary link between the UE and the network entity. The UE may communicate with the network entity using at least the primary link of the dual connectivity connection. The UE may support a single radio resource control state of the plurality of radio resource control states at a time.

A user equipment (UE) may be configured to indicate to a base station a distribution of transmit antennas and receive antennas across a set of antenna panels, and the base station may configure resource sets for reference signal transmissions from the antenna panels based on the indicated distribution. In a first example, the UE may be configured to indicate a respective number of transmit antennas and receive antennas at each antenna panel. In a second example, the UE may be configured to indicate a sum of transmit antennas and a sum of receive antennas across all antenna panels, along with information on how the transmit antennas and receive antennas are distributed. Based on the indication, the base station may configure resource sets for reference signal transmission on sets of ports in resources of the resource sets.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) receives an initial transmission of a common codeword and a private codeword. The common codeword is common to the UE and at least one other UE. The private codeword is directed to the UE. An acknowledgement is transmitted indicative of decoding results of the common codeword and the private codeword based on results of whether the common codeword was successfully decoded and whether the private codeword was successfully decoded. At a Network Entity (NE), an initial transmission of the common codeword and the private codeword is sent and an acknowledgement is received indicative of decoding results. At least one of the common codeword or the private codeword can be retransmitted depending on the acknowledgement.

A first device may cooperate with a second device to form a virtual device configured to communicate with a radio access network. The virtual device may appear as a single device from the perspective of the radio access network. Subsequently, a third device may be identified for replacing the second device within the virtual device. Based on the third device being identified, procedures for handing over communications from the second device to the third device may be executed. The procedures may include a beam management procedure, a random-access procedure, a mobility management procedure, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: A wireless communication system is provided allowing a base station to indicate RTT compensation for UEs to adjust their local time clocks to correct propagation delay timing errors and synchronize with the global clock of a base station. A base station sends a downlink transmission including timing information to a UE and receives an uplink transmission from the UE after the downlink transmission. The base station determines a RTT compensation associated with the timing information based on a RTT between the downlink transmission and the uplink transmission. The base station then transmits the RTT compensation to the UE. UEs are thus allowed to synchronize at a high precision with the time clock of the base station. UEs may be configured with different resolutions or granularities in timing correction so that certain UEs can achieve high precision timing correction while other UEs can adjust their time clocks with less precision.
