Provided are a mask layout method and a semiconductor device and a method for fabricating the same. The semiconductor device can include a main pattern, a first dummy pattern, and a second dummy pattern. The main pattern can be disposed on a substrate. The first dummy pattern and the second dummy pattern can be disposed around a side of the main pattern. The first dummy pattern can have an inner open region. The second dummy pattern can be disposed on the inner open region of the first dummy pattern, such that the first dummy pattern surrounds the second dummy pattern.

A semiconductor device and a method for manufacturing the same. The semiconductor device includes a first main pattern formed on a substrate and a first dummy pattern formed in a parallel direction to a first main pattern on a layer on which the first main pattern is formed. Additional dummy patterns can be inserted and pattern density can be increased by the insertion of the dummy pattern in consideration of the shape and direction of the main pattern per the metal layer.

A mask layout method, semiconductor device and method for fabricating the same using a mask created according to the subject mask layout method are provided. The semiconductor device can include a microlens main pattern on a substrate and a microlens dummy pattern at a side of the microlens main pattern. The microlens dummy pattern can be formed in plurality using a mask created by the subject mask layout method. According to an embodiment of the subject mask layout method, a microlens dummy pattern can be created by forming a base dummy pattern and removing edge areas from the base dummy pattern. The microlens dummy pattern can be created to have a substantially circular shape. In one embodiment, the substantially circular shape can be an octagon.

The method includes evaluating a context on a current situation of an electronic, and creating and displaying a user menu on which information on external service providing apparatuses associated with the evaluated context is enumerated. The list of the service functions required according to the condition of the user and the context is provided, and the service function desired by the user is automatically executed, thereby improving the user convenience.

A method of providing an integrated file list and a video appliance using the same are provided. The video appliance includes a combining unit for combining a video signal to be displayed with desired information, and a control unit for creating an integrated file list enumerated with files stored in a plurality of recording media, and controlling the combining unit to combine the video signal to be displayed with the created integrated file list. According to the video appliance, a user can effectively manage the files dispersedly stored in several recording media.

A control method of an image processing apparatus including a user input part and a display unit displaying an image according to a received broadcasting signal, includes determining whether broadcasting information is requested through operating the user input part; displaying a sub-channel image corresponding to at least one or more broadcasting channels in a portion of the display unit, when the broadcasting information is requested; and displaying channel information corresponding to the sub-channel image indicated by operating the user input part among at least one or more sub-channel images. Thus, an image processing apparatus and a control method thereof provide an electronic program guide (EPG) which is displayed on a portion of a screen of a display unit so that a user may easily browse broadcasting information on channels, when changing the channels.

In a two-way backlight assembly and a two-way LCD apparatus, the two-way backlight assembly provides light emitted from one light source to a first direction where a main LCD panel is placed and to a second direction where a sub LCD panel is placed. Also, a sub mold part for receiving the sub LCD panel comprises a black-colored material so as to prevent reflection of the light. Accordingly, thickness and power consumption of the backlight assembly may be reduced and display quality may be also improved by preventing leakage of the light at ends of the sub LCD panel.
