Abstract: A CPU of a console comprises a color image acquisition unit, a distance image acquisition unit, a specification unit, and an estimation unit. The color image acquisition unit acquires a color image, in which a patient and a periphery of the patient are captured, from a visible light camera. The distance image acquisition unit acquires a distance image indicating a distance between a radiation tube and an object, from a TOF camera. The specification unit specifies a kind of the object in the color image. The estimation unit estimates intensity of radiation in an environment captured in the color image based on reference information including the distance image and a specification image as a specification result of the kind of the object.

Abstract: A method for ascertaining an explanation map of an image. All those pixels of the image are highlighted which are significant for a classification of the image ascertained with the aid of a deep neural network. The explanation map is being selected in such a way that it selects a smallest possible subset of the pixels of the image as relevant. The explanation map leads to the same classification result as the image when the explanation map is supplied to the deep neural network for classification. The explanation map is selected in such a way that an activation caused by the explanation map does not essentially exceed an activation caused by the image in feature maps of the deep neural network.

Abstract: An image processing method including identifying, using a machine learning system, an area of interest of a target image by analyzing features extracted from image regions in the target image, the machine learning system being generated by processing a plurality of training images each comprising an image of human tissue and a diagnostic label characterizing at least one of a slide morphology, a diagnostic value, and a pathologist review outcome; determining, using the machine learning system, a probability of a target feature being present in the area of interest of the target image based on an average probability; determining, using the machine learning system, a prioritization value, of a plurality of prioritization values, of the target image based on the probability of the target feature being present in the target image.

The user terminal is configured to obtain a first photographing parameter, determine whether a pre-stored condition is satisfied, and transmit the first photographing parameter and a captured image to the server when it is determined that the pre-stored condition is satisfied. The server is configured to obtain a first verification parameter, determine whether to use the captured image as a diagnostic image which includes comparing the first verification parameter with the first photographing parameter, and obtain the diagnosis assistance information by using the diagnostic image when it is determined to use the captured image as the diagnostic image.

Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting anatomical structures include, for each training subject of a plurality of training subjects, a corresponding MR image, and generating an initial anatomical template based on a first training subject of the plurality of training subjects. A computing device can map MR images of the other training subjects onto a template space by applying a global transformation followed by a local transformation. The computing device can average the mapped MR images with the initial anatomical template to generate a final anatomical template and boundaries of an anatomical structure of interest can be drawn in the final anatomical template. The computing device can fine tune the boundaries using an edge detection algorithm. The final anatomical template can be used to identify boundaries of the anatomical structure(s) of interest automatically (e.g., without human intervention) in non-training subjects.
