Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for accessing a channel in a wireless LAN. A method for a station (STA) accessing a channel may comprise: a step of the STA receiving an access distribution element through a passive scanning frame; the STA selecting an access random variable based on the access distribution element; a step of the STA determining a minimum value of a passive scanning-specific competition window based on the access random variable; and the STA accessing the channel based on a backoff time that is determined based on the passive scanning-specific competition window.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for transmitting backhaul link information. A method for acquiring backhaul link state information for a station (STA) may comprise the steps of: an STA transmitting, to an access point (AP), a generic advertisement service (GAS) request frame requesting a backhaul link state information of the AP; the STA receiving, as a response to the GAS request frame, a GAS response frame comprising backhaul link state information, wherein the GAS request frame is a frame transmitted by an STA, before an authentication or an association procedure and after a scanning procedure of the AP, to request availability-related information of a network to be accessed by the STA, and the backhaul link state information can comprise information regarding the load of a backhaul link linking network apparatuses other the AP and the STA.
Abstract:
A method for accessing an initial channel by a STA can comprise the steps of: the STA receiving, via a first band from a multiband AP, a scanning frame comprising a neighboring AP information element, wherein the neighboring AP information element comprises information for a second band which is an operating band for the neighboring AP; the STA determining whether accessing the neighboring AP is possible on the basis of information comprised in the neighboring AP information element regarding an access network type of the neighboring AP operating in the second band; if access to the neighboring AP is possible, the STA transmitting an association request frame to the neighboring AP via the second band, wherein the access network type can comprise information regarding an access permission type of a neighboring AP.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more specifically, disclosed are a method and an apparatus for setting up a high-speed link in a WLAN system. A method for a station (STA) setting up the high-speed link in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: transmitting to an access point (AP) a request frame including a generic advertisement service (GAS) configuration change query; and receiving from the AP a response frame including response information with respect to the GAS configuration change query, wherein the response information may include GAS step skipping information when AS information saved in the STA matches the GAS information saved in the AP.
Abstract:
A device and method for active scanning are disclosed. The active scanning method in a wireless LAN can comprise the steps of: allowing an AP to receive a probe request frame containing an the AP identifier; determining whether the AP is a target AP or a non-target AP on the basis of the AP identifier; and performing back-off for the transmission of a probe response frame from a second interval after a first interval is terminated in a minimum channel interval when the AP is a non-target AP. Therefore, the present invention can prevent probe response frames from flooding a STA in a short period of time by distributing intervals in which probe response frames are received to the STA. In addition, the time used by the STA to perform active scanning can be reduced.
Abstract:
An embodiment according to the present specification relates to a method for performing low latency communication. An STA can determine a first parameter set between the first parameter set and a second parameter set on the basis of the time delay value of uplink data. The STA can access a channel on the basis of the first parameter set and transmit the uplink data to an AP.
Abstract:
Proposed are a method and device for performing UL transmission through a multi-link in a wireless LAN system. In detail, a transmission STA generates a first frame including BQR information regarding the multi-link. The transmission STA transmits the first frame to a reception STA. The multi-link is a link in which first and second links are combined with each other. The BQR information regarding the multi-link includes channel state information regarding at least one of the first and second links. The first frame is transmitted through the second link.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting a frame by a station (STA) in a wireless LAN system supporting an HE PPDU (high efficiency physical layer protocol data unit) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: setting a first duration field included in an HE-SIG A field; and transmitting a frame including the HE-SIG A field and a MAC header, wherein the first duration field is set to indicate a TXOP (transmission opportunity) value using a smaller number of bits than a second duration field included in the MAC header, and a granularity of a time unit used for indicating the TXOP value in the first duration field is set to be different from a granularity of a time unit used in the second duration field.
Abstract:
In a wireless local area network (LAN) system, a sharing access point (AP) may transmit a first selection frame to a first shared AP and transmit a second selection frame to a second shared AP on the basis of information relating to channels between a reception station (STA) and the first shared AP and between the reception STA and the second shared AP. The sharing AP may receive a first selection response frame from the first shared AP. The sharing AP may determine to use the first shared AP in multi-AP transmission on the basis of the first selection response frame.
Abstract:
Provided is a method and device for transceiving a frame in a wireless Local Area Network (LAN) system. Particularly, an Access Point (AP) transmits a first frame to a first station (STA) via a first band. The AP receives a second frame from a second STA via a second band while the first frame is being transmitted. The first band and the second band are combined with each other as a multi-band. The multi-band simultaneously supports a Downlink (DL) transmission and a Uplink (UL) transmission. The relationship between the first STA and the second STA is a hidden node. A Physical (PHY) header of the first frame includes channel status information of the second band. A Network Allocation Vector (NAV) of the first STA is set up on the basis of the channel status information.
