    Abstract: Disclosed are systems, apparatuses, methods, computer readable medium, and circuits for defining, at a network controller, a standby mode for the AP, which includes a Wi-Fi subsystem and a host subsystem; determining, at the network controller, that the AP satisfies a predetermined criteria; and transmitting, from the network controller to the AP, a standby mode for the host subsystem and a power on mode for a Wi-Fi subsystem, wherein the standby mode includes instructions to cause a host central processing unit (CPU) of the host subsystem to enter sleep mode.

    Abstract: The present technology provides for efficient re-association of a STA from a first Wi-Fi AP to a second Wi-Fi AP where the respective Wi-Fi APs utilize different security protocols. Since the association and key management (AKM) protocols are different and the cipher suites between generations of Wi-Fi technology, a STA normally would not be able to take advantage of the fast transition process. However, since the present technology allows the STA to derive the security keys in advance, the STA can perform the fast transition and efficiently roam to the Wi-Fi AP that utilizes a different association and key management (AKM) version.

    Abstract: In one aspect, a method includes associating an MLO device with 2 transmission radios to yield a first communication link between the device and a first MLO access point and a second communication link between the device and a second MLO access point, wherein the device is configured to label the first communication link as a primary link and the second communication link as a secondary link; generating a sequence number to be assigned to a frame to be transmitted on the primary link and to a duplicate copy of the frame to be transmitted on the secondary link; associating a flag with the duplicate copy of the frame on the secondary link; and sending, from the device to the first and the second MLO access points, the frame and the duplicate copy on the primary link and the secondary link, respectively.

    Abstract: Devices, systems, methods, and processes are described herein that can reduce network communication overhead by reducing data that is sent. This reduction in data can be achieved by reducing the requests for data related to the buffers of one or more network devices. This buffer status data reduction can be achieved by predicting the current status of the buffers in other network devices. When the buffer predictions are sufficient, the need to request or poll for buffer status reports can be reduced. The buffer predictions can be evaluated through one or more confidence levels. These buffer predictions and confidence levels can be generated by one or more machine learning processes that are configured to operate on one or more network devices. Based on the confidence levels of the predictions, the number of buffer status report polls and of any unsolicited buffer service reports can be reduced.

    Abstract: Devices, systems, methods, and processes for tackling the problem of sticky clients in wireless networks using machine learning processes are described herein. Thresholds related to data rates and/or Received Signal Strength Indicators (RSSI), for Access Points (APs) in a network are identified. These thresholds are configured to dynamically adjust, either based on the time of day or real-time roaming patterns, with the aim of mitigating sticky clients and enhancing overall network performance. Advanced machine learning techniques such as Graph Neural Networks are implemented within the domain of deep learning to significantly alleviate sticky client concerns and promote seamless connectivity for all users.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are a system and method for efficiently routing high-priority frames through a wireless network based on markings of the frames by a data link layer, a network layer, or an application layer in a five-layer protocol stack. When a real-time application, such as a video or gaming application, is to be sent to one or more stations in the wireless network, the access point determines the strategy for routing the high-priority frames based on the markings received from the data link, network, or application layer. Strategies include discarding non-I frames when there is congestion in the wireless network, replicating I-frames to assure reliable delivery to the stations, scheduling I-frames with preference, and moving I-frames ahead in a buffer in the access point.

    Abstract: A method is provided that is performed using an application performance management agent running on an application and/or application microservices. The method comprises detecting a request to the application and/or application microservices for data, and inserting data compliance metadata into packet headers of packets that are to be sent in response to the request by the application and/or application microservices. The data compliance metadata comprises data-compliance markings associated with the data based on user/operator-defined data compliance requirements. The method further includes causing the packets to be sent into a network so that one or more network devices or services in the network can read the data compliance metadata and apply packet handling policies.

    Abstract: Techniques for steering overlay network traffic along specific paths through an underlay network. The techniques may include determining a path through an underlay network that is optimized for sending a packet from a first node of an overlay network to a second node of the overlay network. The techniques may also include determining a destination address for sending the packet along the path from the first node to the second node, the destination address including a micro segment identifier (uSID) corresponding with an underlay node that is disposed along the path through the underlay network and trailing bits representing a portion of an address that corresponds with the second node. The techniques may also include causing the packet to be modified to include the destination address such that the packet is sent from the first node to the second node along the path.

A method for providing the PPDU with the AMP BKD excitation extension includes generating the PPDU with the AMP BKD excitation extension and the AMP BKD excitation extension field and transmitting the PPDU with the AMP BKD excitation extension.
