Abstract: Systems and methods for determining round trip time (RTT) includes a second node, which receives a first signal from a first node at a first time, determines a timing advance based on a first estimated channel response for the first signal, and transmits at a second time, a second signal to the first node, wherein the second time occurs after the first time by an amount of a pre-specified delay for RTT estimation minus the timing advance. The first node transmits the first signal to the second node at an initial time, receives the second signal from the second node, and determines a timing statistic from a second estimated channel response for the second signal, the timing statistic estimated at a third time. The first node determines the RTT as the third time minus the initial time minus the pre-specified delay for RTT estimation.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating beam training with relay link are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a control node includes determining a first set of measurements associated with at least one set of beam pairs. In some examples, the at least one set of beam pairs is associated with a wireless backhaul link between a first wireless device and a relay device, a first relay access link portion between the first wireless device and the relay device, or a second relay access link portion between the relay device and at least one second wireless device. The example method also includes configuring at least one subset of beam pairs of the at least one set of beam pairs based on the first set of measurements. Additionally, the example method includes transmitting information indicating the at least one subset of beam pairs to the relay device.

PCI collision issue may occur. Aspects presented herein address the possible PCI collisions. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be an IAB node configured to determine a configuration associated with PCI management of a PCI of the IAB node. The apparatus may be further configured to change the PCI of the IAB node based on the determined configuration.

Abstract: Aspects relate to a soft physical cell identifier (PCI) change within a wireless network. A scheduling entity may communicate with a set of one or more scheduled entities within a first cell utilizing a first PCI. The scheduling entity may determine that a second PCI of a second cell co-located with the first cell has been assigned to the scheduling entity, for example, as a result of a PCI collision. The scheduling entity may implement a soft PCI change from the first PCI to the second PCI during a transition period within which the set of one or more scheduled entities may be transferred from the first cell to the second cell. The scheduling entity may then discontinue using the first PCI after completion of the transition period.

The aspect may include determining, at a central unit (CU) of the donor node, a configuration of a resource pattern for a plurality of IAB-nodes of an IAB network, wherein the configuration of the resource pattern includes a base resource pattern configured with a base periodicity of one or more slots and a plurality of distributed unit (DU) slot format indices within the base periodicity. The aspect may include transmitting, by the CU of the donor node, the resource pattern to one or more of the plurality of IAB-nodes of the IAB network.
