    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine, for a secondary cell and a primary cell where cross-carrier scheduling is to occur from the secondary cell to the primary cell, whether a quantity of downlink control information (DCI) sizes for a set of DCIs that the UE monitors satisfies a threshold, wherein the threshold is a per scheduling cell per scheduled cell threshold or a per scheduled cell threshold. The UE may selectively perform a DCI size alignment procedure to adjust a DCI size configuration based at least in part on whether the quantity of DCI sizes satisfies the threshold. The UE may monitor for the set of DCIs based at least in part on the DCI size configuration. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit uplink transmission using antenna elements mapped to one or more antenna ports. The UE may transmit a first message to a network entity to indicate antenna ports that are available for wireless communications at the UE. The UE may transmit a second message to the network entity to indicate antenna groups associated with the antenna ports. Each antenna group may include a respective set of one or more antenna elements and may be associated with a respective transmit power threshold. The network entity may select a first antenna group of the one or more antenna groups for the UE to use for uplink transmissions. The UE may transmit, after transmitting the first and second messages, one or more uplink transmissions to the network entity using the first antenna group.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a maximum transmission power for an uplink transmission on a first cell of a first cell group (CG) based on a direction of communications (e.g., uplink, downlink, or flexible) with a separate cell of a second CG during a same duration of the uplink transmission and within a same first frequency range, where the direction of communications is either an actual direction or an assumed direction. The UE may receive an uplink grant scheduling the uplink transmission during a symbol and within the first frequency range, determine the maximum transmission power for the UE based on the direction of communications for the separate cell during the symbol and within the first frequency range, and subsequently transmit the uplink transmission in accordance with the maximum transmission power.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for finite field parity for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook. A method that may be performed by a base station (BS) includes indicating, to a user equipment (UE), a codebook for uplink transmission of HARQ feedback, the codebook based on: (i) a number (M) of candidate downlink transmission occasions for a time period, and (ii) a maximum number (k) of downlink transmissions the UE can receive during the time period. The method also includes selecting an action to perform based on a set of codepoints of the codebook, the set of codepoints comprising: (i) a first combination of codepoints, and (ii) a second combination of codepoints different from the first combination, wherein HARQ feedback calculated from the first combination is equal to HARQ feedback calculated from the second combination.

    Abstract: Since multiple transmit-receive point (TRP) communications may increase the number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates without increasing the number of cells, new limits for multi-TRP communications may be defined. A UE may determine a PDCCH monitoring capability across all downlink serving cells that may account for multiple-TRP cells and for carrier aggregation and dual connectivity using a multiplication factor for serving cells with two control resource set (CORESET) groups, for signaling a number representing PDCCH monitoring capability across all downlink serving cells. Further, the UE may determine limits of a number of serving cells based on the capability and a configuration of serving cells. The UE may determine a total limit and a per cell limit of PDCCH candidates and non-overlapped control channel elements (CCEs) to monitor in a slot for a cell group. The UE may perform blind decoding operations within the limits.
