Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the UE receives a configuration of a set of cells configured for layer 1 (L1) or layer 2 (L2) inter-cell mobility. The UE further transmits a special cell (SpCell) update message in response to an SpCell change condition on the first SpCell in the set of cells for the L1 or L2 inter-cell mobility. The SpCell change condition may include a beam failure on the first SpCell. The method improves the quality of service, beam reliability, and resource utilization of wireless communication, and reduces latency and power consumption of wireless communication.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving an indication of a mobility configured cell set having a number of cells. The method also includes receiving signaling to release a selected cell from the mobility configured cell set. In some aspects, releasing the selected cell comprises removing the selected cell from a carrier aggregation configuration. Abstract: Techniques are described for wireless communication. An orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) configuration of an uplink channel is identified for communications in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. An OFDMA waveform is generated based on the identified OFDMA configuration. The OFDMA waveform is communicated in a signal in the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. A virtual cell identifier of a first base station may be associated with transmissions between the first base station and a first user equipment (UE). A set of common resource blocks may be identified for transmission of a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) between the first base station and the first UE. A configuration of an uplink channel may be dynamically selected for uplink communications in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. A waveform may be generated based on the selected configuration. The waveform may be communicated in a signal in the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for resource selection supporting the identification of resources for receiving two-stage downlink control information (DCI). In some systems, for example, a base station may transmit a first stage DCI and a second stage DCI to a user equipment. The first stage DCI may include control information for a group of UEs including the UE and the second stage DCI may include control information that is specific to the UE. The UE may determine a resource to use for receiving the second stage DCI based on an indication in the first stage DCI. In some examples, the UE may determine a resource from a resource pool based on a resource selector included in the first stage DCI and receive the second stage DCI over the determined resource. The resource pool may be indicated by the first stage DCI or pre-configured at the UE.
