    Abstract: An image decoding method includes receiving residual information including first size related information for a first residual coefficient and second size related information for a second residual coefficient, setting a Rice parameter of the first size related information and the second size related information as a specific value, deriving available binary values based on the Rice parameter, deriving binary values of the first size related information and the second size related information by decoding the first size related information and the second size related information, deriving values of the first size related information and the second size related information by comparing the binary values and the available binary values, deriving the first residual coefficient and the second residual coefficient based on the values, and reconstructing a current picture based on the first residual coefficient and the second residual coefficient.

    Abstract: A method and a device for processing an intra prediction mode based video are disclosed. More specifically, a method for processing a video based on an intra-prediction mode may include determining a left prediction mode and an upper prediction mode using a prediction mode of a block neighboring a current block, wherein the left prediction mode and the upper prediction mode are determined based on a split structure of the block neighboring the current block; constructing a most probable mode (MPM) candidate list of the current block using the left prediction mode and the upper prediction mode; determining a prediction mode of the current block using a MPM index indicating a specific prediction mode in the MPM candidate list; and generating a prediction block of the current block using the prediction mode of the current block.

    Abstract: An intra prediction method includes the steps of: acquiring intra prediction mode information from a bitstream; deriving neighboring samples of a current block; determining an intra prediction mode for the current block on the basis of the intra prediction mode information; deriving a prediction sample of the current block on the basis of the intra prediction mode and the neighboring samples; determining filtering reference samples for the prediction sample on the basis of the intra prediction mode; and deriving a filtered prediction sample by applying filtering to the prediction sample on the basis of the filtering reference samples. According to the present invention, a prediction sample can be adaptively filtered according to the intra prediction mode, and intra prediction performance can be improved.
