Abstract: Conditional progressive encoding and decoding is discussed, in which a receiver receives a plurality of encoded message segments as a sequence of messages, and sequentially decodes each of the message segments in sequence, in which the decoding of the next encoded message segment is triggered only by successfully decoding the current encoded message segment. On the transmitter side, the transmitter breaks a message payload into a sequence of message segments, and then independently processes each message segment for generating error detection coding and encoding into multiple codeword segments. The transmitter multiplexes each codeword segment over the spectral space of subcarriers to transmit the message.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication at a wireless device of a wireless wearable device. In one aspect, the wireless device may transmit a first report based on one of a location of the wireless wearable device, a time period, or reception of a user-controlled indication to transmit the first report. The wireless device may also receive, based on the transmitted first report, a configuration to switch from a first mode to a second mode. In some aspects, the configuration can include at least one parameter associated with a power savings at the wireless wearable device while in the second mode. Additionally, the wireless device can operate based on the at least one parameter while in the second mode.

Abstract: A first user equipment (UE) is configured to communicate with a base station over a Uu link and communicate with a second UE over a sidelink. The first UE transmits a joint scheduling request and a joint buffer status report (BSR) for an uplink transmission on the Uu link with the base station and a sidelink transmission on the sidelink with the second UE. The joint BSR is associated with a relative latency of the uplink transmission and the sidelink transmission. The first UE receives from the base station, a joint transmission grant scheduling the uplink transmission on a first set of resources and scheduling the sidelink transmission on a second set of resources. The first UE transmits a first transmission on the first set of resources for the uplink transmission and a second transmission on the second set of resources for the sidelink transmission.

Abstract: Various aspects of the disclosure relate to use of a default communication configuration for cross carrier wireless communication. For example, a wireless communication device such as a user equipment (UE) may use a default communication configuration that includes quasi-colocation information (e.g., a default CORESET configuration) for communication on a secondary component carrier (SCC). The default communication configuration may be used, for example, in scenarios where a CORESET is not defined for the SCC and other configuration information is not available. For example, other configuration information might not be available due to a short time gap between a grant sent on a primary component carrier (PCC) and the communication on the SCC scheduled by the grant.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configurations of a set of tracking reference signal (TRS) resource sets. The UE may receive an availability indication associated with one or more TRS resource sets from the set of TRS resource sets, and the availability indication is associated with one or more groups of TRS resource sets associated with the set of TRS resource sets. Numerous other aspects are described.
