Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may obtain a sidelink resource pool configuration indicating multiple waveforms that are available for use for sidelink signals associated with a sidelink resource pool. The first UE may communicate, with a second UE and via a sidelink channel, a first sidelink signal associated with the sidelink resource pool, wherein the first sidelink signal uses a first waveform from the multiple waveforms, and wherein the first waveform is used based at least in part on at least one of: a condition associated with the sidelink channel, or receiving a communication indicating that the first waveform is to be used by the first UE. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a guard period associated with switching from a first communication mode to a second communication mode. The UE may be operating in a half-duplex frequency division duplexing mode of operation. The guard period may be determined based at least in part on at least one of: a number of phased locked loops to be used for the first communication mode and the second communication mode, and a particular subcarrier spacing associated with the UE. The UE may switch from the first communication mode to the second communication mode based at least in part on the guard period. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatuses, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for retransmitting a random access channel (RACH) message, for example, based on parameters for initial RACH transmission. For example, a user equipment (UE) transmits an initial transmission of an uplink RACH message with repetition. The UE receives a downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a retransmission of the uplink RACH message with repetition. The UE determines parameters for the retransmission of the uplink RACH message with repetition based, at least in part, on parameters for the initial transmission of the uplink RACH message with repetition. The UE retransmits the uplink RACH message to the network entity with repetition in accordance with the determined parameters.

Abstract: Generally, the described techniques provide for duplex mode configuration for control information (e.g., duplex mode configuration for communication of downlink control information). For example, duplex modes may be defined (e.g., as full duplex (FD) capable, FD only, half duplex (HD) only, etc.), and such duplex modes may be configured for control resource sets (CORESETs), search space (SS) sets, or both. In some examples, duplex modes configured for a CORESET/SS set may depend on the priority of information conveyed via the CORESET/SS set. For example, a CORESET/SS set for high priority or critical control information may be configured with a HD mode to avoid FD self-interference, while CORESET/SS set for other control information may be configured with a FD mode to improve spectrum efficiency. Techniques for resolving conflicting duplex mode configurations (e.g., when a HD mode is configured for a SS set within a CORESET configured with FD) are also described.
