    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a first wireless device may participate in a communication (e.g., transmit or receive), with a second wireless device, of an indication of a processing capability of either the first wireless device or the second wireless device. The processing capability may relate to support of decoding of wireless communications that are encoded in accordance with a network-encoding protocol and the indication of the processing capability may be indicative of one or more minimum time thresholds to decode and respond to corresponding network-encoded communications. Additionally, the first wireless device may transmit data as part of a network-encoding procedure, where the data is network-encoded or is to be network-encoded and may receive a feedback message associated with transmission of the data in accordance with the processing capability.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling from a base station. The control signaling may comprising an indication of at least one of a set of resources of a sidelink channel available for sidelink communication with a second UE, an indication of a resource allocation mode type for the set of resources, and an indication that the first UE is one of a transmitter or receiver for the set of resources of the sidelink channel. The first UE may receive, from the base station, a sidelink preemption indication indicating that at least a first resource from the set of resources is preempted. The first UE may then communicate a sidelink transmission over the sidelink channel with the second UE based on the sidelink preemption indication and the control signaling.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for acknowledgment feedback for groupcast option 1 sidelink communication are disclosed herein. An example method of wireless communication at a receiving user equipment (UE) includes determining whether a data signal associated with a groupcast transmission from a transmitting UE is decodable at the receiving UE and obtaining measurements of the data signal when the data signal is decodable at the receiving UE. The example method also includes determining whether the measurements exceed a threshold and transmitting a first type of feedback to the transmitting UE when the measurements do not exceed the threshold. An example method of wireless communication at a transmitting UE includes receiving, from a receiving UE over a sidelink channel, feedback comprising the first type of feedback when the first UE is determined to monitor for the first type of feedback and a second type of feedback from a plurality of UEs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may receive, from a network encoding device, an encoding capability message indicating one or more parameters associated with an erasure encoding and an erasure encoding type from a set of defined erasure encoding types. In some examples, the erasure encoding type is associated with an order between the erasure encoding and a low-density parity check (LDPC) encoding. The network encoding device may encode data in accordance with the one or more parameters and the erasure encoding type indicated in the encoding capability message and transmit a data message including the data encoded. As such, the wireless device may receive the data message and may decode the data of the data message in accordance with the one or more parameters and the erasure encoding type indicated in the encoding capability message.
