Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for facilitating sidelink cancellation of an automatic gain control (AGC) symbol of a sidelink transmission. A network entity, such as a base station, may transmit sidelink scheduling information scheduling a sidelink transmission from a transmitting wireless communication device to a receiving wireless communication device. The network entity may further transmit a cancellation indication indicating an overlap between an AGC symbol of time resources allocated for the sidelink transmission and an additional transmission. Based on the cancellation indication, the transmitting wireless communication device may selectively transmit the sidelink transmission.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A target user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a session key from an initiator UE in a sidelink communications system, from a network entity (e.g., a base station), or the like. In some cases, the target UE may also receive an indication of a nonce in a message of a PRS procedure. The target UE may select a positioning reference signal (PRS) sequence for the PRS procedure using the session key and optionally the nonce, such as by using a defined function at the target UE with the session key and the nonce as an input. Once the target UE selects the PRS sequence, the target UE may encode the PRS sequence and may transmit the PRS sequence to the initiator UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The techniques described herein relate to new radio (NR) sidelink and long-term evolution (LTE) sidelink co-channel coexistence for stand-alone NR user equipment. A user equipment (UE) identifies a resource pattern for a set of resources for sidelink communications, the set of resources including a first subset of resources associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) (e.g., LTE) and a second subset of resources associated with a second RAT (e.g., 5G NR). The UE performs a channel busy ratio (CBR) measurement for a resource of the set of resources. The UE adjusts the resource pattern for the set of resources based on the CBR measurement.

In some examples, a first wireless device may participate in a communication (e.g., transmit or receive), with a second wireless device, of an indication of a processing capability of either the first wireless device or the second wireless device. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling from a base station. The control signaling may comprising an indication of at least one of a set of resources of a sidelink channel available for sidelink communication with a second UE, an indication of a resource allocation mode type for the set of resources, and an indication that the first UE is one of a transmitter or receiver for the set of resources of the sidelink channel. The first UE may receive, from the base station, a sidelink preemption indication indicating that at least a first resource from the set of resources is preempted. The first UE may then communicate a sidelink transmission over the sidelink channel with the second UE based on the sidelink preemption indication and the control signaling.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for acknowledgment feedback for groupcast option 1 sidelink communication are disclosed herein. An example method of wireless communication at a receiving user equipment (UE) includes determining whether a data signal associated with a groupcast transmission from a transmitting UE is decodable at the receiving UE and obtaining measurements of the data signal when the data signal is decodable at the receiving UE. The example method also includes determining whether the measurements exceed a threshold and transmitting a first type of feedback to the transmitting UE when the measurements do not exceed the threshold. An example method of wireless communication at a transmitting UE includes receiving, from a receiving UE over a sidelink channel, feedback comprising the first type of feedback when the first UE is determined to monitor for the first type of feedback and a second type of feedback from a plurality of UEs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may receive, from a network encoding device, an encoding capability message indicating one or more parameters associated with an erasure encoding and an erasure encoding type from a set of defined erasure encoding types. In some examples, the erasure encoding type is associated with an order between the erasure encoding and a low-density parity check (LDPC) encoding. The network encoding device may encode data in accordance with the one or more parameters and the erasure encoding type indicated in the encoding capability message and transmit a data message including the data encoded. As such, the wireless device may receive the data message and may decode the data of the data message in accordance with the one or more parameters and the erasure encoding type indicated in the encoding capability message.

Abstract: The apparatus may be a UE. The UE may be configured to receive, from a second UE, an indication of a first DC location corresponding to a first subcarrier of multiple subcarriers. The UE may further be configured to decode at least one transmission from the second UE based on the received indication of the first DC location corresponding to the first subcarrier.
