Abstract:
A wireless communication system is disclosed. More particularly, a control method and device based on multiple priorities in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method of controlling a back-off timer in a terminal configured with multiple priorities, which includes transmitting a first non-access stratum (NAS) request message set to a first priority level, starting the back-off timer configured by a network, and transmitting a second NAS request message, which is not set to the first priority level, while the back-off timer runs.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for making it impossible to track a vehicle performing vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication through a network. The network may allocate the same IP address to all UEs performing V2X communication. Since the UEs performing V2X communication transmit data using the same IP address, an application server cannot track a vehicle transmitting corresponding data.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for monitoring UE reachability in a wireless communication system. A method for monitoring UE reachability may include receiving, by a Mobility Management Entity, a monitoring request message for UE reachability including a maximum response time from a Home Subscriber Server, detecting, by the MME, the UE reachability if it is expected that paging is able to be transmitted to UE when extended Discontinuous Reception is applied to the UE, and sending, by the MME, a UE reachability notification to a Service Capability Exposure Function before a next paging occasion of the UE, wherein the maximum response time may indicate a time during which the UE maintains a reachable state so that downlink data is reliably delivered to the UE, and wherein an occasion when the UE reachability notification is transmitted may be determined by taking into consideration the maximum response time.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification provides a method for responding to a failure of a specific packet data network (PDN) in user equipment (UE). The method can comprise the steps of: receiving information on whether a specific PDN has a failure; determining whether the specific PDN is in a failure state on the basis of the received information; and if it is determined that the specific PDN is in the failure state, performing a detach procedure for the specific PDN or a disconnection procedure for the specific PDN, and then, performing an attach procedure to another PDN or a PDN connection establishment procedure.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method by which a terminal performs device-to-device (D2D) communication in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: converting into a radio resource control (RRC) connection state through the transmission of a service request; being allocated a resource for the D2D communication; transmitting a D2D signal through the allocated resource; and receiving a system information block (SIB) after transmitting the D2D signal, wherein if the SIB includes information on a resource pool, the terminal does not perform an RRC recovery-related operation even if RRC connection failure occurs.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for performing a packet data network (PDN) connection process by a user equipment in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: transmitting a first PDN connection request to a mobility management entity (MME); and receiving from the MME a response to the first PDN connection request, wherein the first PDN connection request comprises information about groups, and the response to the first PDN connection request comprises information about blocked groups among a plurality of groups and/or unblocked groups among the plurality of groups.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for determining a path switch in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method for determining a path switch of a first network entity, the method comprising the steps of: receiving bearer setup information including a bearer type regarding at least one bearer; transmitting a path switch request to a second network entity on the basis of the bearer setup information; receiving a path switch response corresponding to the path switch request from the second network entity; and determining a path switch depending on whether the path switch response indicates admission of a default bearer.

Abstract:
A method and a network node for supporting a connection between a User Equipment (UE) and a Machine Type Communication-interworking function (MTC-IWF) are discussed. The method according to an embodiment includes receiving, by the network node from the MTC-IWF, a mobile terminated (MT) message including a triggering payload by using a specific reference point; forwarding, by the network node to the UE, the trigger payload, if the trigger payload contains an application identifier which allows the network node and which distinguishes the MT message carrying device triggering information from any other type of MT message; and receiving a response message, which corresponds to the trigger payload, for initiating communication with the server, if the application identifier which allows the UE distinguishes the MT message carrying device triggering information from any other type of MT message.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, a repeater operation method and apparatus are disclosed. A method for supporting a repeater by a base station in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention may include the steps of: determining whether a relay communication about a target user equipment (UE) is required; and transmitting the repeater activation message to one or more repeater candidates. The activation message may include one or more parameters among an activation cycle, location, or a signal strength threshold for the one or more repeater candidates. A repeater satisfying the condition given by the one or more parameters from among the one or more repeater candidates can be activated as a repeater for the target UE.
