Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may obtain a configuration that defines a first number of positioning measurement transmission beams, each positioning measurement transmission beam associated with a boresight transmission angle of the UE, and a second number of positioning discovery transmission beams, each positioning discovery transmission beam associated with a boresight transmission angle of the UE. The UE may transmit the positioning discovery transmission beams, then receive, from at least one other UE, feedback related to at least one of the positioning discovery transmission beams, and, based on that feedback, determine a subset of the positioning measurement transmission beams to be used for performing positioning measurements. The UE may perform the positioning measurements using the subset of the positioning measurement transmission beams.

In certain aspects, the UE may be configured to switch from the first BWP to a second BWP, wherein: the first bandwidth is switched to a second bandwidth, the first slot format is switched to a second slot format, or the first bandwidth is switched to the second bandwidth and the first slot format is switched to the second slot format.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for optimizing the reporting of Uu-RTT or SL-RTT measurements. The apparatus determines a RX-RS-TX-RS proximity parameter defining a proximity window around the RX-RS resource for receiving the RX-RS. The apparatus identifies a TX-RS resource of at least one TX-RS resource for transmitting TX-RS within a proximity window around a RX-RS resource for receiving RX-RS. An identified TX-RS resource being used by the UE for determining a UE RX-TX time difference associated with a time difference between reception of the RX-RS and transmission of the TX-RS. The apparatus measures the UE RX-TX time difference based on received RX-RS in the RX-RS resource and transmitted TX-RS in the identified TX-RS resource when TX-RS is transmitted in the identified TX-RS resource.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for providing improved power efficiency during DRX wake-up are disclosed. An example method of wireless communication at a UE includes receiving a WUS from a base station while performing a DRX cycle, the WUS indicating data for transmission to the UE. The example method also includes at least one receiving a downlink reference signal or transmitting an uplink reference signal based on the WUS and prior to reception of the data, the uplink reference signal transmitted or the downlink reference signal received during an on-duration of the DRX cycle and in response to receiving the WUS. The example method also includes sending a CSI report to the base station based on the WUS and prior to the receiving of the data. The example method also includes receiving the data following the respective receiving or transmitting of the downlink reference signal or uplink reference signal.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a network entity to configure other types of reference signals, such as reference signals configured for communications, for positioning measurements. In one aspect, a network entity, such as an LMF, transmits, to a plurality of base stations, a request for a capability report indicating at least one of whether the plurality of base stations have a capability to formulate an RS for communication as a PRS for a UE positioning session or whether the plurality of base stations have a capability to transmit a PRS dedicated for positioning for the UE positioning session. The network entity receives, from each of the plurality of base stations, the capability report. The network entity selects at least some of the plurality of base stations and a signal pattern configuration for the UE positioning session based on the capability report received from each of the plurality of base stations.
