摘要: A method and device is disclosed for charging and/or maintenance of lead-acid and alkaline accumulator batteries, allowing a charge, discharge, or recovery in control-conditioning cycles of these batteries. To increase efficiency of the battery recovery process, its charge is created by a reversible current in consecutive stages. Correction of the charging mode is provided based on voltage and temperature of the accumulator battery.

摘要: Apparatus and methods for sequencing outputs in a multi-output power converter system are disclosed herein. During start-up multiple CC/CV outputs may be sequenced so that energy is first provided to a highest voltage secondary output and subsequently provided to a lowest voltage secondary output. Additionally, control may be exerted so as to concurrently and monotonically increase voltages during at least part of the start-up transient; and concurrent control may be further implemented using control circuitry and a variable reference generator. In some embodiments a variable reference may be generated from a capacitor voltage.

摘要: In one implementation, a power converter with over-voltage protection includes a power switch coupled to a power supply through a tank circuit, and a control circuit coupled to a gate of the power switch. The control circuit is configured to turn the power switch OFF based on a current from the tank circuit, thereby providing the over-voltage protection to the power converter. In one implementation, the power converter is a class-E power converter. In one implementation, the control circuit is configured to sense the current from the tank circuit based on a voltage drop across a sense resistor coupled to the power switch.

摘要: An insulation type step-down converter includes first and second step-down transformers each of which includes an input-side coil and an output-side coil. First, second, third, and fourth rectifier elements are connected in series with first, second, third, and fourth series coils, respectively, the first, second, third, and fourth series coils each having the output-side coil of the first step-down transformer and the output-side coil of the second step-down transformer connected in series. The first to fourth series coils are connected to smoothing coils. The connection is such that electric currents flow simultaneously only in one of the first and second series coils and one of the third and fourth series coils in an alternate manner, and electric currents flowing simultaneously in one of the first and second series coils and one of the third and fourth series coils are opposite in direction to each other.

摘要: An MMC includes arms each configured with one unit converter or a plurality of cells connected in series. A control circuit of the cell transmits a voltage detected value of a DC capacitor to a control device and controls on/off of a switching element in accordance with a control signal received from the control device. When the voltage detected value of at least one cell exceeds a first threshold voltage, the control device transmits a gate block signal to the control circuit of each cell. The control circuit of each cell autonomously fixes the switching element of its own main circuit to an off state and short-circuits the output terminals of the main circuit, irrespective of the control signal, when its own voltage detected value exceeds a second threshold voltage higher than the first threshold voltage.
