摘要: A peristaltic dosing device for providing dosages of a fluid at a volume of less than one milliliter comprises: a flexible tube, a counter pressure element, a plurality of actors and a drive. The flexible tube is essentially straightly arranged along the counter pressure element thereby forming a longitudinal axis. The actors arranged parallel to each other along the longitudinal axis. They are moveable by the drive in relation to the flexible tube. The flexible tube is compressible between the actors and the counter pressure element by moving the actors. Each of the actors is independently and linearly moveable by the drive along an actuation axis essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the flexible tube from a home position in which the flexible tube is least compressed to an end position in which the flexible tube is compressed and sealed between the respective actor and the counter pressure element. The peristaltic dosing device according to the invention allows for exactly and repeatably providing dosages at comparably small volumes in a sterile environment.

摘要: A dispenser device includes: a valve system, a dispensing head for dispensing liquid and connected with a transfer tube to the valve system, a dispensing pump connected to the valve system, a first inlet port for conducting rinse liquid to the valve system, and a second inlet port for conducting rinse gas to the valve system. The device includes control equipment for operating the valve system so that the flow via the transfer tube towards the dispensing head includes both the rinse liquid and the rinse gas. The rinse gas is capable of collecting gas bubbles formed on the inner walls of the transfer tube to larger amounts of gas. Thus, the rinse gas facilitates the removal of the gas bubbles with the aid of the rinse liquid.

The flutes of the first meter roller segment are axially separated from the flutes of the second meter roller segment by a gap. The meter roller also includes a dividing ring disposed about the shaft and axially positioned between the first meter roller segment and the second meter roller segment. A width of the dividing ring is substantially equal to the gap.

摘要: A method and system may track liquid consumption by a user from a liquid container using a flexible, network-connected, smart band. The smart band may detect orientations of the liquid container and identify sips taken by a user based on a pattern in the detected orientations. The smart band may also estimate a liquid consumption metric based on characteristics of the identified sips such as the duration of the sip. The identified sip as well as sip characteristics and the liquid consumption metric may be displayed on the smart band, and also may be transmitted to a server for storage and for display on another network-enabled device.

摘要: A calibration unit is for a capacitive measuring system in a metering installation, or a metering installation for in particular solid pharmaceutical dosage units, and to an associated method for metering. The calibration unit includes a test body, a drive for the test body, and a guide for the test body. The guide has a first terminal position, a second terminal position, and a guided section that runs between the two terminal positions. The drive is configured for moving the test body along the guided section in a reciprocating manner between the two terminal positions. The capacitive measuring system is calibrated via the calibration unit. The dosage units are then metered via the metering installation and checked for a properly metered mass via the calibrated capacitive measuring system.

摘要: A dosing cap for dispensing a measured dose of material includes a housing, a sealing member and a biasing member. The housing has an inlet end residing within a container and receives the material. An outlet end dispenses the material. A dosage region is interposed between the inlet end and outlet end. The sealing member is received within the housing. The sealing member includes a first seal proximate the inlet end to selectively open or close the inlet end and a second seal proximate the outlet end to selectively open or close the outlet end. When the biasing member is unbiased, the inlet end is open, the outlet orifice is closed and the dosage region is charged with material. When the biasing member is compressed, the sealing member is biased so that the inlet end is closed and the outlet orifice is open whereby the material is dispensed.
