摘要: Tools used to detect underlying structures, such as behind the surface of a wall, can include a first sensor, such as an electromagnetic sensor, configured to generate data indicative of the location of the underlying structure. Tools can include an indicator that provides an indication to a user based on the data. Tools can additionally or alternatively include an infrared imaging device for generating infrared image data indicative of the heat pattern of a scene. A display can display the generated infrared image data. Underlying structures may be visible in the heat pattern of the scene. The tool can indicate the presence of an underlying structure feature to an operator via one or both of the display and the indicator.

摘要: An opto-electronic sensor module (e.g., an optical proximity sensor module) includes a substrate, a light emitter mounted on a first surface of the substrate, the light emitter being operable to emit light at a first wavelength, and a light detector mounted on the first surface of the substrate, the light detector being operable to detect light at the first wavelength. The module includes an optics member disposed substantially parallel to the substrate, and a separation member disposed between the substrate and the optics member. The separation member may surround the light emitter and the light detector, and may include a wall portion that extends from the substrate to the optics member and that separates the light emitter and the light detector from one another. The separation member may be composed, for example, a thermosetting polymer material, a UV-curing polymer material or a visible light-curing polymer material, wherein the separation member further includes one or more inorganic fillers and/or dyes that make the separation member substantially non-transparent to light detectable by the light detector and/or emitted by the light emitter.

摘要: A color wheel rotation speed detecting module is disclosed and includes a color wheel, a motor, a rotation speed detector and a processor. The color wheel includes a first segment and at least one second segment. The motor drives the color wheel to rotate. The rotation speed detector includes an emitter and a receiver. The emitter outputs a light signal to the first segment or the second segment of the color wheel when the color wheel is rotated. When the receiver receives the light signal reflected from the second segment, the receiver outputs a detecting signal correspondingly. When the light signal passes through the first segment and the receiver fails to receive the light signal, the receiver interrupts the output of the detecting signal. The processor receives the detecting signal from the receiver, and obtains the rotating speed of the color wheel according to the detecting signal varied with time.

摘要: A proximity sensor and a detection method thereof are provided. The proximity sensor includes the proximity sensing unit and a control unit. The proximity sensing unit generates a sensing value in response to an object. The control unit is coupled to the proximity sensing unit. The control unit obtains the sensing value from the proximity sensing unit, compares the sensing value and a default value to obtain a comparing result, calculates a status accumulative time according to the comparing result, and determines whether the status accumulative time exceeds a default time, so as to determine a proximity status of the object.

The device also includes a proximity sensor configured to determine a distance to a target and to communicate a distance signal to the processor, one or more environment sensors configured to determine one or more aspects of an environment of the target and to communicate one or more environment aspect signals to the processor, and one or more chemical sensors configured to determine one or more concentrations of one or more chemicals in the environment of the target and to communicate one or more chemical concentration signals to the processor. The processor is configured to determine food spoilage of the target based on the distance signal, the environment aspect signals, and the chemical concentration signals.

摘要: An optical position detector for monitoring the position of a radiating hot object such as a metallic heat emitting hot bar and/or rod product in a metal rolling mill, the monitoring detector including a scanning head having a rotating lens system that is focused on a heat sensitive photocell and which scans the position occupied by the hot object and develops a detection signal that is proportional to said occupied position. The sensing head also produces a reference signal. The reference signal and object detection signal are phase related so as to generate an analog signal which is then representative of the detected position of the object being monitored, and which may be utilized as a control signal in the rolling mill.
