    摘要: One system described herein provides electrical energy by means of a Tesla coil that generates a strong electric field in the vicinity of an electrical target. An energy booster provides additional electrical energy to increase the probability of disabling and/or disrupting the electrical target. For example, an electrode may be configured with the Tesla coil to form the electric field of the electrical target. The electric field may cause a breakdown in the air about the Tesla coil that allows electric current to conduct to the electrical target. The Tesla coil may repetitively burst the electric field such that pulses of electric current are conducted to the electrical target.

    摘要: A cartridge for a system that uses a stimulus signal for immobilizing a human or animal target includes a propellant and a projectile propelled away from about the cartridge by the propellant. The projectile includes a power supply, a waveform generator, and several electrodes. The waveform generator is powered by the power supply. The waveform generator includes a processor. The electrodes complete a stimulus delivery circuit to conduct a current through the target. The waveform generator generates the current to include a first series of pulses and a second series of pulses. The second series begins after the first series is completed. The first series has a first pulse repetition rate determined by the processor. Each pulse of the first series has a first pulse width of from about 10 to about 1000 microseconds. Each pulse of the first series delivers through the target a first charge per pulse of from about 50 to about 500 microcoulombs. The second series has a second pulse repetition rate determined by the processor to be less than the first pulse repetition rate. Each pulse of the second series delivers through the target a charge greater than a minimum charge per pulse. A product of the second pulse repetition rate and the minimum charge per pulse is greater than 250.

    摘要: An electronic weapon, when combined with a unit for deployment, causes skeletal muscle contractions in a human or animal target. According to the present invention, a launch controller for an electronic weapon includes a detector, a stimulus signal generator, and a switch. When the switch is conducting, it completes a circuit in combination with a unit for deployment. The circuit, when completed, operates a propellant of the unit for deployment to deploy at least two electrodes of the unit for deployment to enable the stimulus signal generator to deliver through the target a stimulus current to incapacitate the target by causing contractions of the skeletal muscles of the target. The detector is coupled to the switch and detects whether the switch is conducting prior to combining the unit for deployment and the electronic weapon.

    摘要: A long range electrified projectile immobilization system is mainly comprised of a launching device, a projectile and a high voltage electric pulse current generator. The projectile has two rotary arms which can rotate around hinges on the projectile head at an arc toward the target, there are two pointed electrodes affixed on the rear end of the two rotary arms, these two pointed electrodes are connected to the high voltage electric pulse current generator by two trailing wires. There is also an electric arc sensitive deploying squib inside the projectile and interlock with the two rotary arms, so that these two rotary arms can not separated from each other until the deploying squib is destroyed or removed from the projectile. Once the projectile is launched out by the launching device and hits a target, the deploying squib is initiated by the high voltage electric pulse current, the explosion of the deploying squib will destroy the interlock relation with the two rotary arms and force them rotate around the hinges at an arc toward the target, thus deploy the two pointed electrodes onto the target. The high voltage electric pulse current that conduct through the target from the two electrodes will immobilize the human or animal target.

    摘要: A stun gun with finger grip is disclosed. The stun gun is configured to fit and be held firmly within a palm of a user's hand and easily gripped with the user's fingers. A trigger is disposed within a finger grip aperture of a front housing and rear housing of the stun gun, where the trigger causes the stun gun to discharge an electric shock through electrodes mounted above the finger grip aperture to stun an assailant. The finger grip aperture is configured and placed on the stun gun to receive the user's finger therein when the stun gun is being gripped by the user's hand. The finger grip aperture protects the user's finger and prevents the assailant from easily dislodging the stun gun from the user's hand. The user's finger may be placed completely through the finger grip aperture to provide a firm grip on the stun gun. In addition, in a struggle with the assailant, the user's finger can remain firmly on the trigger and continue to depress the trigger to repeatedly shock the assailant.

The concealable electric shock device includes a housing that allows a user to affix the device against the user's body to “electrify” the user. The device is formed to accommodate a DC power source (e.g., 12 volt battery) and convert the DC power to a high-voltage AC power. Both a primary on/off switch and a secondary on/off switch (e.g., magnetic reed switch) are included to allow a user to selectively become electrified. Additionally, a user-side electrical contact is attached with the housing to provide AC power directly to a user's body. A flash system (e.g., flash bulb) is also included to allow a user to selectively generate a flash effect. Finally, a messaging system (e.g., vibrator motor) is included to allow a user's assistant to discreetly provide messages to the user, thereby providing the illusion of mentalism.

    摘要: A cartridge for propelling a pair of wire-tethered contact darts for disabling a remote target with an electrical discharge. The cartridge comprises two bores each having one wire-tethered dart in front of an electrically activated pyrotechnic. A cartridge contains two separated straight bores, which each launch a single dart assemblage with a single primer of standard manufacture. A single 200 large rifle primer can launch a single dart assemblage reasonably accurately to 30 feet from the cartridge. Each assemblage is deflected to a predicted angle of flight when it collides with a center hinged cover as it exits the cartridge. This arrangement allows for longer flight distances and tighter, but still effective, dart spreads throughout the travel.
