摘要: One or more embodiments of a burner panel for a metallurgical furnace is described herein. The burner panel has a body. The body has a front face, a first side surface, and a second side surface. Additionally, the body has a hollow extending between the first side surface, second side surface, and the front face. A middle portion of the body extends from the hollow toward the interior face. A burner tube is disposed through the middle portion of the body. The burner tube has an exterior portion having an entry and an exit disposed at the font face. An internal mounting flange extends along the first side surface and the second side surface. The body of the burner panel has no internal plumbing for cooling.

摘要: A molten metal rotor receives and retains an end of a molten metal rotor shaft. The rotor shaft has one or more projections at the end received in the rotor. The rotor has an inner cavity, a top surface with an opening leading to the inner cavity, and at least one abutment. The opening includes one or more portions for allowing each projection to pass through the opening and into the inner cavity. The rotor and/or shaft are then rotated so at least one of the outwardly-extending projections is under the top surface of the rotor and is against an abutment. A molten metal pump, rotary degasser scrap melter or other device used in molten metal may utilize a rotor/shaft combination as disclosed herein.

In the structure, a space between ends of inner and outer tubes is decompressed. The outer tube includes a first flange, which extends radially inward from an axially one end thereof, and a second flange, which extends radially outward from the axially other end thereof. The inner tube includes a third flange, which extends radially inward from an axially one end thereof and is opposed to the first flange at an axially inward position of the first flange, and a fourth flange, which extends radially outward from the axially other end thereof and being opposed to the second flange at an axially outward position of the second flange. First and second elastic seal members are disposed between the first and third flanges and between the second and fourth flanges, respectively.

摘要: Combined burner for blowing oxidizing gas and fuel into melting furnace, which is fixedly installed into the furnace and provided with outlet apertures for fuel and oxidizing gas, consists, according to this invention, of fixed part (2) of the burner (1) and of a movable nozzle (4), which is rotatably installed inside the body (2.1) of the fixed part (2) of the burner, supply (7) of the oxidizing gas is connected to the movable nozzle (4) and it is controlled by actuator (3), installed outside of the working space of the furnace, while the axis x2 of the orifice of the movable nozzle (4) is diverted from the rotation axis x1 of the movable nozzle (4) by angle a in the range of 5-60° and the movable nozzle (4) is rotatable around the axis X1 in any direction by angle β in the range of 0-180°. The movable nozzle allows directing blown gases into various places in the furnace. At the same time, the whole burner is fixedly installed in the wall or ceiling, or the cover of the furnace, and the space of the furnace thus remains sealed.

摘要: A tunnel oven and associated method for the heat treatment of friction elements, and in particular braking elements such as brake pads is provided. The friction elements are arranged on a resting surface of a conveyor device, are moved between an inlet opening and an outlet opening of the tunnel oven, and are heated by irradiation by at least one heating device. The heating device includes a radiating plate made from stainless steel arranged facing the conveyor device and heated by electromagnetic induction using at least one inductor arranged facing the radiating plate and spaced apart therefrom on the side opposite to the conveyor device. A cooling air flow for the braking elements between the resting surface and the radiating plate is directed in counterflow to a feeding direction of the conveyor device.
