Abstract: A structure for coupling a faucet or a similar device includes: a faucet with a connecting pipe portion extending there-from; a connecting body with an annular coupling portion formed at one end and connected to a liquid supply source to discharge liquid through the faucet; a fastening nut screw-coupled to the annular coupling portion; a pressing ring coupled to the connecting pipe portion; and a grab ring configured to grab an outer circumference of the connecting pipe portion to have the connecting pipe portion not to be detached from the coupling portion. The fastening nut can be detached from the coupling portion by rotating the faucet and the connecting pipe portion with the engaging configurations of the pressing ring and the fastening nut in engaged position, and an angular position of the faucet can be adjusted to a preferred position in assembly by rotating the faucet and with the engaging configurations of the pressing ring and the fastening nut in disengaged position.

Abstract: A device for the sealed closing of an opening for one or more elongate parts to pass through includes a sealing and/or clamping element with at least two interacting first and second parts that are axially displaceable relative to one another, and a pressure contour acting axially onto the sealing and/or clamping element. A first axial displacement of the pressure contour and an axial displacement of the at least one second part relative to the at least one first part causes a first change in geometry of the at least one first part transversely to the displacement direction. Also, a further axial displacement of the pressure contour causes a further change in geometry of the at least one first part transversely to the displacement direction such that the opening is sealed around the one or more elongate parts passing therethrough.

Abstract: A coupling 10 is provided to create a connection between two tubes 12 and includes a first coupling body 14 having an externally threaded end 26, and a second coupling body 16 has an internally threaded end 32 operably engaged with the externally threaded end 28. A first deformable ring 18 is located in the first coupling body 14. A second deformable ring 20 is located in the second coupling body 16. The coupling 10 has a free condition wherein tubes 12 can be inserted into the coupling 10, and a connecting condition wherein the first and second deformable rings 18,20 are engaged with the sleeve 22 and the first and second coupling bodies 14,16 to be deformed into engagement with any tubes 12 that have been inserted into the coupling 10.

Abstract: In a method of assembling a conduit fitting, a conduit fitting is provided, including a first coupling member, a second coupling member, an internal conduit gripping device disposed between said first coupling member and said second coupling member, and an external deformable structure. The first coupling member is pulled up with the second coupling member on an end portion of a conduit to engage the external deformable structure with an external surface of one of the first and second coupling members. After engaging the external deformable structure with the external surface of one of the first and second coupling members, the first coupling member is further pulled up with the second coupling member to axially compress the external deformable structure, until an amount of torque required to continue pulling up the first coupling member increases to a predetermined torque. The predetermined torque corresponds to an initial pulled-up position in which the conduit gripping device grips and seals the conduit.
