    摘要: The shock-absorbing wall structure can be used to equip transport containers which may suffer major falls, generating very high energy on impact. It is chiefly made up of several layers of a cellular bearing structure (7, 7N, 7Nnull1 . . . ) in which some metal blocks are regularly placed. These blocks are positioned in staggered manner from one layer to another, so as to leave regular spaces in which they can expand in the event of impact. Particular application to transport containers such as fuel rods from nuclear plants or so-called type C containers (Transport Regulations for Hazardous MaterialsnullEdition 96nullIAEA Document, Vienna).

The container includes opposing handgrips within panels, which lack hinges and thus do not function as conventional vacuum panels as the inward deformation is spread beyond the panels. The hand grip includes a distal, relatively stiffened portion formed by a sidewall that forms a thumb piece and a proximal, relatively un-stiffened portion the smooth merges into a cylindrical sidewall of the container.

    摘要: A heat-resistant hollow cylindrical container comprising a neck, a shoulder, an upper body, a middle body provided with pressure reduction absorbing panels, and a lower body including a bottom wall, wherein said pressure reduction absorbing panels are arranged symmetrically relative to a central axis of the container, each of said pressure reduction absorbing panels is located inside an imaginary outer periphery of the cylindrical shape of the container, and each of said pressure reduction absorbing panels is provided with at least a pair of protuberances to be hooked by a finger.     摘要: A bottle-type plastic container has a body and an opening at one end of the container that allows liquid content to be filled into the container and emptied therefrom. The body includes at least one body portion having a substantially regular polygonal cross-section defined by a plurality of generally flat walls. The generally flat walls of the body portion include flexible walls and less-flexible walls, which are arranged alternately to each other in a circumferential direction of the body portion. When the container is filled with liquid contents at a high temperature and subsequently cooled to room temperature, a resultant pressure drop within the container is absorbed by the walls, initially by a primary inward deflection of the flexible walls and subsequently by a secondary inward deflection of the less-flexible walls. As such, the plastic container is particularly suited for hot fill applications.
